Oh, it's a bit of a letdown that we didn't get to enjoy the lake view from the deck, even though we booked it ages ago. We were placed by the fire pit near the stairs ☹️. I've been coming here for ages, and I've noticed the food has had its ups and downs. But guess what? It's back to being absolutely top-notch!

Nothing better than sitting on the patio overlooking the lake. My burger was delicious. My husband's club sandwich was pretty good. Our service was great! Overall, it was a great experience.

A beautiful setting! Unfortunately food was a little lacking, French dip had a little roast beef on dry French bread, no carmalized onions or melted cheese. Au jus and uninspired horseradish sauce on the side. Fries were good. But the gorgeous setting on the deck makes up for its shortcomings.

Food was excellent but of course expensive due to the location and views but in all very pleasant. Only down side was noise level which was not Edgewoods fault. A full table of drunk women were right next to our party of 4. Very loud 25 year olds. We had to try and talk over them.

What a wonderful evening, everything was perfect all around. Our server, Yvonne was truly outstanding, attentive, knowledgeable and made the dinner experience fantastic. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, and our Yvonne was gracious enough to even as the chef to sub out with a Caesar salad for the mashed potatoes and veggies. So nice! The wine selected by our server was also delicious. Thank you again Brooks staff for making it a memorable evening!!

We have gone to Brooks' Bar & Deck at Edgewood for about 25 years and have seen it evolve over those years. We include this dinner spot as our "special night out," both when we're in town for with many family members or just a small group. Denae was our server and her calm, insightful ways were matched with a warm smile and sincere care to make our dining experience top notch. We started with the chips, guacamole, and salsa and the blistered shishito peppers - which we devoured immediately. My husband had the carnitas tacos and I had the trio of tacos (tri-tip, mahi-mahi, and carnitas) and they were incredibly tasty. Our son had the classic Caesar salad with salmon on top and he clearly enjoyed it because it was gone before I could take a taste. We attempted to share the hole in 1 sundae, but ended up taking the donut holes home. The weather was perfect, the views impeccable, and the company was the best! We feel so thankful to have this to look forward to again next year!

Lots and lots of servers, hostesses and busboys here. Manager checked in on us at our table twice. Had a reservation and had hoped for a table on the deck with a lake view but we were seated on the patio around the side of the building overlooking the golf course. Our server was friendly and prompt. I didn't love my steak tacos entree, just ok. My husband loved his filet, potatoes and veggies. Peach cobbler dessert was delicious.

We love the deck and tonight the sunset was beautiful. But they were understaffed. Our waitress had too many tables and neglected us. We almost left. The manager comped out drinks but it was too little too late. Such a disappointment!
