Food was far below average, especially for being a fixed menu. Service was very good, but the food and price was horrible! Very expensive and was very disappointing especially for Thanksgiving dinner.
Service at this restaurant was so bad i can't even remember last time when I encountered such a poor management of time and people. Being a holiday dinner does not excuse the fact that I had to ask the server to bring us at least some bread in a restaurant charging $50 dollars per person for the view. We didn't pay for the window seat because we can see our selection in the mirror for free ( home). For a table of 2 I think is reasonable to expect at least bread a butter in less than 30-40 minutes. The server (Gabriel) was passing our table at least 20 times- never stop to ask if we need something, even avoiding eye contact. To get our main course after 1 hour and 30 minutes we had to stop a manager which was doing laps. But the bill never disappoints with the tip suggestion:20 %. Being a holiday makes sense to tip more, but my question is for what? If you want a nice dinner and good food do yoruself a service and find another place.
Wonderful Thanksgiving meal. Prefix menu had many choices including a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
poor bar service, poor table service. manager was involved. got $49 refund. what a mess. won't being going back.
The service was average at best. the food was mediocre for Thanksgiving meal. The best service was at the bar.
Jack was a great host, and Hillary made the perfect Martini. Thank you for making Thanksgiving dinner with my mom so special. Cheers!
Overall great value, it's a lovely restaurant with very delicious seafood and great service, but at a great price point. Went multiple times during our stay in Tahoe!
Come here often, but last night everything was sub-par. Service was slow, appetizers came out 15 minutes apart, and our wine when it finally arrived had some film floating around. Clearly something has changed.
Our dining experience was very good overall. Our server Frankie was excellent, friendly and attentive. The staff was instantly at our table if I just glanced around. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The only glitch was our seating. Our reservation was at 5:30 and we arrived at 5:05. I had requested a window seat. The hostess said we'd have to wait until our 5:30 reservation for a window seat. No problem, we weren't in a hurry so we sat at the bar and had a cocktail while we waited. At 5:30 we returned to the hostess to be seated and she placed us a row back from the window. We mentioned we would like a window seat and her response was, “Well it's dark and you can't see anything anyway.” True, but why did we wait an extra 25 minutes for a window seat if we weren't going to get one. It was a Wednesday night and not overly busy, and there were some window seats available around the corner, across from the bar. Very odd. Also shortly after we were seated the table in front of us opened up and she was quick to seat a couple there. Which upon seating them she had a short conversation with them and appeared to show them some photos on her cellphone. Friends, I really don't know. But overall our dining experience was excellent and we'd highly recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely decadent Lamb Chops and supremely irresistible desert. The “dinner for 2” was outstanding. Highly recommend for couples and special occasions. One of the finest restaurants in town.

This was by far and away our best meal in South Lake Tahoe. The service was professional, drinks were properly made (I have a pretty specific drink order) and everything came out hot and as ordered. I would highly recommend the lamb chops, they were tender, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. They were also accompanied by the best parsnip puree that I have had. The one comment I would share is that the lights were so bright I think I got a sun tan on my bald head. Had the lights been dimmed to an appropriate level, this would have been a perfect evening, but that said it was pretty darn close. Overall, this was our best dining experience of our week in South Lake Tahoe.
My husband's birthday and first time there, he loved it. I set up a time when the sun was to set. It was raining, but miraculously, the sky opened up and we got to watch the sun set. Was amazing. Thanks you so much. Kim
Great restaurant and delicious food . Eddie was a great server making our experience wonderful. We look forward coming back.
1st time dining here at the Tahie location. Really nice steak and seafood options, lovely wine list. Very little for vegetarians, over baked potato and a couple salads. Why not a portobello option?
Overall its overpriced. Waiter seemed a little off. But you can't beat the view and atmosphere.

Went to the Chart House for my wife's birthday. My steak was rare. When I say rare I mean it looked like the cook put it on a warming plate and served it semi warm. I ordered medium rare. My wife ordered her steak medium and it was on the rare side of medium rare. $48/steak and paying extra for sides is way too much. However, the new Saltgrass in what used to be Harvey's is the same. My advice to the cooks is purchase an instant read thermometer. My advice to the public is don't come to Tahoe if you want a decent steak.
