I love the show, and had heard mixed reviews on the food. The food was not good. My scallops were undercooked. My beef Wellington was cooked perfect, but was super salty. My husband ordered a filet with foie gras, he ordered it medium rare and it came well done and also so salty. The waiter never came back after dropping our meals off. Pretty disappointed for spending over $300 for two.

Anytime we come to Tahoe we make it a point to visit! The service is phenomenal and the food is just to die for. The timing is impeccable as well, food comes out perfectly course after course.

Prix fix meal is perfection.

Seriously another level I had never tasted with the wine pairing of each course.

Scallops that have incomparable mouth feel and texture.

Wellington that is a sight to behold plus so unctuous.

And sticky toffee pudding that may be the most perfect dessert ever concocted.

I'll be back when I can afford it. (But well worth it)

Kid-friendliness: Not a place for kids under 12 I'd say.

Everything is great, from the servers to the staff, it was a fun experience. The pricing wasn't even super expensive compared to the other restaurants I have ate in that were high-end. Super professional staff, but my only complaint is the casino smell since the hotel is located near the blackjack tables.

My family and I ended up here for my belated birthday dinner, just 3 days after my birthday. (I don't really know how queer/trans friendly or not a place like this is, so when they called me the birthday girl, and I tried correcting them I was the birthday boy, I didn't really seem to have been heard? idk it's a birthday celebration, seems a little odd to misgender the birthday person lol.....)

I wanted to keep it simple with just one entree of Beef Wellington, while the rest of my family was already choosing starters I would like for myself anyways. The Ahi Tuna Tartare ($30-35~) was a limited selection and off menu that was recommended, so we went with that along with a dozen oysters. The Ahi Tuna was pretty good, in terms of freshness and quality, it felt like it was about 3 levels higher than the poke tuna you get at Costco, comparatively. The oysters were decently fresh, albeit relative to where we're located.

In terms of signature cocktails, I went with the Smoked Barrel (I can't fully recall the name, but I think that's as close as I can get.) It definitely seemed very similar to an Old Fashioned, but with a sweet tangy twist - it also came with an orange slice that had the HK logo seared into it, which was a great touch.

The Beef Wellington initially came off as a little smaller than expected, but seems fair considering they'd be making so much of the famous dish. The crispy pastry exterior was very satisfying, especially in pairing with the beef inside at the perfect medium rare. Smoothing this into the mashed potatoes was a wonderful juxtaposition of textures and flavor. I really enjoyed this version, although maybe not the best Wellington I've had. (Relatively, I've had a better one on a cruise ship before.) Regardless, I finished all of it haha it was surprisingly too filling for some of my family members.

The complimentary toffee pudding was definitely not what I was expecting in a fun way, but it was a great mix and ratio of pudding and ice cream together. All in all, great food experience.

If I had the chance to come back, it would be for the vegetarian and vegan options. I'm not either, but it seems those menus are incredibly underutilized.

Dietary restrictions: It's not normally listed, but they do have vegetarian and vegan options.

This was our first time at Hells Kitchen but it was exactly what I expected and a little more. The scallops were delicious and perfectly fresh and cooked. The beef Wellington as everyone else has raved was great and the sticky toffee pudding was everything I didn’t know I needed. The meal was perfect the staff were excellent. Couldn’t have chosen a better spot for date night!

Parking: The restaurant validates your parking.

The service was great, everyone was super friendly, and most of the food tasted amazing. The elote had a fishy after taste which threw me off, but everything else we tried tasted amazing.

Completely ridiculously over priced mediocre small portion food. You are paying for a name being displayed. They absolutely take advantage of folks like charging 40 bucks for two plastic cups half full of juice. Never ever again!!!!
