Service was excellent, food was incredible except for the steak. It was dry, overdone and flavor was off. All other food was amazing as always
My experience at Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen in Lake Tahoe was disappointing. Most of the food fell short, with the only standout dishes being the prime New York steak, wagyu meatballs, and lobster risotto. The mac and cheese tasted spoiled almost like rancid milk and not only did I notice it, but all eight people in my group, including friends and family, agreed it was off. The scallops were another issue they arrived with an extremely fishy smell and taste, which every person at our table also confirmed, and that is absolutely not how fresh scallops should taste. The Beef Wellington was a letdown as well the filet tasted old, and after dissecting the dish and tasting each component separately, I'm certain the problem was the beef itself. The mashed potatoes were just okay. On a positive note, the desserts, especially the sticky toffee pudding and the cheesecake, were excellent, and our waiter provided outstanding service. Overall, the meal was not worth the high price tag.
I did not have any expectations going into Hell's Kitchen, and ended up being very pleasantly surprised. I have never seen such attention to detail in food preparation. Everything was truly outstanding.
Our dinner and the service was excellent. The new remode wad very nice. The restaurant is much more comfortable than before.
My husband and I went here on our 1st wedding anniversary and it was a Tuesday. However, we had an amazing time! The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night. We would definitely recommend to others and return!!
Exceptional dining is how I would define our evening. Food was superior and desert was exotically delicious.
Our waiter was exceptional and gave us very nice suggestions to share meals and try different starters/entrees. Food was fantastic and at the end gave us a very nice Anniversary Dessert! Would highly recommend for a special night.
The food was great. Our server Heather did a great job. We did the chef's table and had a great time. The chef autographed the menu and I have it as a souvenir.
Scallop were chewy - overcooked. Beef Wellington fantastic. Salmon mushy like baby food with crisp skin - flavorless. The best part of the meal was the Lobster Risotto, wine and dessert. Our server Walter was amazing the food was just very much lacking after having Hell's Kitchen in Vegas it's very obvious these chefs are a large step down.
Food and drinks were great, server was amazing. I ordered a steak medium well and received and rainbow steak. It went everywhere from well done to rare and back to medium well on the other end. A restaurant should know how to cook a steak correctly, especially a Gordon Ramsey restaurant.

The service was great and our server did a great job. The steak was ordered medium well and it looked like a piece of shoe leather. Worst $70 steak ever. I didn't want to bring it up because we were celebrating an anniversary and I didn't want to have the negativity as it wasn't as important as a celebration-that was my decision. There were two large tables that obviously took up a lot of the staffs attention. I've been to this restaurant before ordered the same meal and it was impeccable. I'm sure it was a one off and these things happen. Still it was a bummer.
My daughter's favorite place. Bigger and noisier now. Service staff, food and drinks still top notch
The food was delicious but what really made the overall experience wonderful was the service, in particular our waiter Dan was awesome. I definitely recommend the foie gras and lobster risotto for appetizers and the desserts of sticky toffee pudding and coconut three ways are yummy. It goes without saying that the filet and beef Wellington are prepared perfectly, even tried a chicken dish that has one of the best sauces of truffle chicken jus. It's worth trying and will definitely make it back the next time we're in Tahoe.
My husband and I had an experience celebrating our 10th anniversary. We arrived for our reservation and were immediately seated. The ambiance was beautiful. Our server was very knowledgeable about all of food and drinks on menu. As well as the daily specials. She reset our table in between courses, and was friendly and professional. We ordered the macaroni and cheese appetizer, and it was delicious! For our entrees, my husband had the beef wellington and I enjoyed the filet mignon. Everything was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and portioned. We had an incredible experience. Can't wait to go back!
We enjoyed our experience but it lacked ambiance and was very loud. The chef that we could see seemed very confused and unhappy. It just didn't live up to our expectations...
