The Basil Chicken was too salty, and the lunch special was not enough to be full. When we arrived there, not too many customers, but it took time waiting to be served.

Great food, seems to be authentic Thai with assertive flavors - the Basil chicken actually tastes like basil, the hangover noodles were amazing as well. Service and atmosphere was good too. Definitely has to be one of the best Thai places in Tahoe, and it would hold up well in the Bay Area as well, it's that good!

For our first place to eat in Tahoe, we found this charming and delicious Thai restaurant. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

Fast food made by Thai , not so bad but nothing special. I had green curry with beef. There are other shops near by and look good as well as all are freshly made.

Best Thai food I've ever had!! Food comes out fast & prices are great! Not to mention the portion sizes!! Also do yourself a favor and order their Thai tea, best I've had in a while! (Pad Thai & Pad Se Ew)

The reviews were all great so we went. The room was filled so we thought great. We saw a sign promoting that they have 4 owned restaurants in the area. We have lots of great Thai at home and were thrilled to think we could have it here. Then it went downhill. Service was very slow and seemingly only one person spoke English when we would want to ask a question. Timing seemed off. Had to ask about several dishes as things came out piecemeal. We ordered mild and things came spicy. Most importantly: Thank goodness for spicy as the dishes were largely without other flavor. The panang curry was bland and spicy. The pad kee mao was spicy and overpowered by bell peppers. The pad Thai was overpowered by lemon grass and didn't have any typical sweetness. The spicy eggplant was the best of the bunch and very good. We hoped for sticky mango but they were out. We left the pad Thai uneaten. They asked us why, we said we didn't like the flavor. They didn't offer to take it off of the bill. So disappointed. I sincerely hope everyone else has a better experience!

It was ok, nothing bad to report it just wasn't very special. Food to me should make you want to come back and this will be a one time visit. Its very Americanizes " Orange Chicken" kinda place instead of a traditional and authentic tasting food. It was from the freezer to the fryer on your plate. No real human touch !

One of the good finds on our trip to Tahoe this past month. We decided to come here on a whim and were so pleasantly surprised to see this place. I was impressed by the beautiful interiors of this restaurant. We ordered: panang curry with tofu- 4 stars hangover noodles with tofu- 4 stars vegetable delight - 3 stars Everything was good and the service was quick and friendly. Will definitely come back when I am in Tahoe again.

Three words: Mango Sticky Rice! Probably my new favourite sweet treat, especially shared with my sweetheart. ($7) We had the Hangover noodles, spice level 3. Fresh crunch veggies over silky smooth flat noodles. We chose chicken. Spice hit the front of my tongue and lingered. Loved it. ($11) We also tried the Spicy (level 5) Basil fried rice. The flavour was so bright and fresh; not heavy at all. The spice settled on the back of my tongue. ($10) This was my husbands favourite. Excellent value for the money. Service was exceptional; seated immediately T 6:30 on a Sat night and our ice water was already on the table. We are FULL and will go for a happy walk after this meal. Wish I lived here, glad I don't because this place is a gem and I'd have to have my mail forwarded to this restaurant I'd be here do frequently. A year later we are here again and I loved it just as much. Tried the curry this time and it was fabulous. Huge pieces of chicken, creamy/spicy broth, generous amount of broccoli. I will make this part of our annual trip.

Ordered the chicken Tom yum noodle soup and chicken chowmein and they were both delicious. The noodle soup had the right amount of spices and the portion size was huge, had to get a to go box for this. The chicken chowmein was decent in portion size and had the veggies nicely sautéed which was great! Found their Thai iced tea a little too sweet but was still nice anyway. Must visit for anyone visiting South Lake Tahoe!

Really good Thai food. The mango sticky rice is super good and shaped like a heart! Pad see ew with chicken is great. Drunken noodle might be one of the best I've ever had.
