I had a really good dining experience here. I had the filet which was cooked perfectly and a pineapple mojito that was great! The waiter and service was great and this restaurant has the most amazing views! I would definitely recommend eating here!

Very lovely place and lovely staff. They were very thoughtful and cared about our experience. The food was amazing and I loved the chef's special of Elk. I never had it before but it did not disappoint! I would definitely come back here for a nice “fancy” evening.

Our reservation was for 715 and we didn't get sat until 745 but I think that was only cos hubby asked what was happening. We were in the bar waiting but the hostess suggested that we wait there. I think I they forgot about us. The server was fantastic. It took forever to get our food. The crème brûlée and huckleberry ice cream were very tasty. The potato au gratin were meh. The peppercorn sauce was also meh. The filet was cooked perfect. Hubby liked his meal. Not sure I'd return.

The Sage Room is an exceptional experience both in food, ambiance, and service. It is definitely worth the price.

We always have a meal at the Sage Room when we're in Tahoe. I always told people I go there for the service first and the food second. The location, overlooking Lake Tahoe is breathtaking. However, this last dining experience was a little underwhelming. While the food was still top notch ( and the view gorgeous), the service was not as good. I can't really put my finger on it, but I felt in the past the staff were much more attentive during the entire meal than they were this time. The restaurant wasn't overly busy and we were on one side of the restaurant by ourselves. While there are other name brand restaurants in the hotel, The Sage Room is our go to. We have celebrated so many special moments in our family at this restaurant and I really hope it's around for a long time. I just think Caesars needs to put in a little effort to keep this iconic restaurant going and to bring it back to its heyday glory. Get it back to a true dining experience as it once was.

We requested at table close to the window of which there were plenty closer than the booth they stuck us in whis was too big for an intimate diner. The wait station was right behind us, and we had to listen to them complain about each other. My wife steak was good, but my bone in New York steak had some chewy parts (gristly) to it. Added on some scallops to mine that did not show up. After asking for them, they showed up cold on the middle and mushy. Waiter never asked how the food was at any time. Won't be visiting the Sage Room any time soon. Disappointing.

Service was great. Our drinks were amazing, as was the food. Our table had really nice views.

We were disappointed on this visit. The night started with my wife getting stabbed by a partially shattered seatback. Our serverJeremy handled it swiftly and apologized and offered assistance. A manager should have come over. Despite it not being busy at all, it took an hour to get our meal. The ribeye was 5 stars but the potato was overly cooked but still somehow cold...Jeremy took it off the bill. The gnocchi mac and cheese was fine.

This was one of the saddest dining experiences I have ever had. The ambience and decor of this restaurant was pretty drab from what I remembered from ten years ago. The food was very mediocre and extraordinarily over-priced. My first choice, as I was dining solo, was to take a seat at the bar. The bar was not up to the standard of a restaurant with these types of prices. The lighting was harsh fluorescent. There was a TV blaring in your face and a very loud dishwasher. I went to the restaurant side and asked for a table, the reception was frosty and snide. I was seated at an awkward table that seemed out of place in the midst of the dining room. While the service was friendly, the attention was spotty. The food would arrive but the drink I ordered for that course would come several minutes later. The $49 chicken with one carrot and three flavorless potatoes was not worth the price point. There was barely any reduction to speak of, making the chicken dry and dull. The dessert was a wild sugar bomb that made eating half of it a challenge. The whole experience made me feel that The Sage Room's best days are behind it now. In my opinion closing this disappointment of a restaurant would be the right move. One last thing to note, I wish I had read the reviews before I went, most of the reviews are precisely what I experienced, negative. I noticed that for all of the bad reviews the casino issues a canned statement that is copied and pasted. They say they will address these issues and they thank you for your review as it helps them improve. I can say that this is merely lip service, a lot of the issues raised by so many people that had a bad experience have not been addressed or remedied. It seems they don't care, I guess they still make their money and that's all that matters.

The Sage Room is a unique and tranquil restaurant offering stunning views of the lake. The bone-in ribeye steak was cooked to perfection—well-seasoned and incredibly tender. The pan-seared sea bass had a light seasoning, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. Overall, for guests staying at Harvey's, the Sage Room is an ideal spot for steaks.

Food was very good, atmosphere was ok, second time we were seated in the bar and not the main dinning area. Wine list not as robust as it was 10 years ago. This place has become crazy expensive, but our waiter Jericho was just amazing. Friendly, social, attentive and eager to please. Sunsets are of course da bomb.
