Dinner at Sage is always a wonderful experience! We've eaten there every time we've visited Lake Tahoe over the years but this evening it was made especially wonderful due to our server, Teddy and the pride he takes in his three sons who also are staff members at Sage, Teddy Jr., Anthony and his youngest Sage. What a special family!
My significant other and I had dinner at The Sage Room last night, and the entire experience was exceptional. We started with the French onion soup, ahi tartare, and oysters — all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We also had the scallops with prawns entrée, which was phenomenal, and our ribeye was cooked perfectly. The crème brûlée was the perfect finish to an amazing meal. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a date-night dinner at the Sage Room! Perfect table for two by the window with glass all around for a wonderful view of the lake and downtown. We started with a couple of great craft cocktails and one of the best French onion soups I've had in a long time. The elk tenderloin with baby carrots was excellent. Our waiter, Cy, was top-shelf and new his way around fine dining. The Sage Room is a winner and we'd definitely dine there again.
