Chop 40 has good food, its fairly priced, but what sets it apart is the ambiance. Low ceilings, barn wood walls and all the random stuff hanging up. The service can be a little slow at times but hey im there for beer and bbq.

I do like the place, it's fun, drinks are good, I liked my entree, but I was disappointed in the lack of effort put into the garlic fries. Some actual garlic would go a long ways compared to the garlic powder and canned parmesan.

Absolutely the best meal we have had on the road. The Brussels and Bacon were fabulous! Crunch, sweet and a little heat. The chicken wings lemon pepper and the barbecue were perfectly cooked no pink but moist and delicious.

This was the first time coming to this place to eat. Its right off the freeway. Upon walking up it had rusted walls and looked very run down. We walked into a nice outside eating area. Once we were inside the place had a skull of an animal on the wall, old license plates, a bar was on the left and sitting area on the right. They had two tvs playing. We were greeted by the bartender who told us to come and take a seat. There were plenty of seats inside. We waited about 7 mins and an overwhelmed waitress meets us. She seems super frazzled. She took our order. She then proceeded to get our order wrong by not giving us our correct drinks. She then left and complained to the bartender about some person outside. My family sat for another 25 mins for our food. The waitress came by once to fill up the water. I didn't want to overwhelm her anymore so I just let it be that she got my drink order wrong. Our food arrived. It was delicious. My kids got their order right and overall the food was great! My husband was not happy with his meal. It was bland, overcooked and did not taste good. We got our bill and it was almost $100. It really was the worst service we had ever received while at a resturant. I will not be going back here to eat again.
Cool place with good affordable food. Staff was nice. Everything we tried was very good. Most items under $20 on standard menu. Steaks and specials are a bit more.

This is a cute restaurant/bar. The soup of the day was creamy and rich in flavors. The tacos were fresh with the cold slaw with crispy fish skin on outside and meat is still moist inside. The macaroni is very cheesy and creamy. The BBQ chicken wings were delicious! The skin was crispy and meat was moist. The spring roll salad was refreshing and crunchy with the greens. The peanut sauce was rich, creamy and could use a little more peanut taste. I love the crunch of the actual peanut in the salad.
