My wife and I were looking for something to eat outside of the bars and saloons that are very prevalent in Virginia City and came across the Firehouse Creamery. In addition to ice cream, they also sell deli sandwiches that are made to order. The food was good, prices reasonable, and service was fast. If possible, sit out and eat on the back deck. The views of the valley and surrounding mountains can't be beat.
Hate to disappoint anyone BUT the creamery is NOT closed. Just had a very yummy Black Cherry Vanilla cup of ice cream... sitting on the back deck eating the ice cream and enjoying the 100 mile view
