Always a pleasure to visit. It's half of the reason I always make a special trip up to Virginia City whenever I'm in Reno (the other being the gorgeous scenic drive to and from). So many delicious things to choose from, but it's the incredible candy apples for me. Delicious treats with a side of excellent friendly customer service. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I love fudge. Homemade is the best. We bought the sampler box and some brittle. I guess I should have been suspect when there wasn’t much in the display. It’s very grainy an generic tasting. More just sweet, not chocolate. For the price I expected better. I think it was a little old as well. When I’ve made fudge it had a shiny surface and not grainy at all. I don’t recommend

Delicious almond caramel apples here!! The Apple was so crispy and fresh and well balanced with the caramel. Not too sweet! The almonds were a perfect addition. Would get this again (: They also seemed to have a lot of yummy chocolate. I didn't try them but would like to try them next time!

Sadly we didn’t try the fudge (which all looked delicious), but we did have ice cream, which was great. The single scoop here was at least as big as a triple scoop back home!

Great customer service and ice cream is good. Fudge falls apart, dry and weird tasting. Not a huge fan of that

This is the kind of review I hate to write, as I really enjoyed the shop, the atmosphere, and the employees. Ordered 1/2 pound of the PB/chocolate swirl and honestly was very let down. Like others have posted, it has a grainy texture, something you never want or expect in a good fudge. You could taste and feel all the granulated sugar in it too. Ick!The PB reminded me of dollar store peanut butter, or worse still, Peter Pan peanut butter. I could barely finish a small sliver of the fudge that I had sampled, it was just a gross experience overall.

Stopped by on 4th of July to get our ice cream fix, this place is a staple in downtown VC!The portions are HUGE (not complaining heh). The flavors are delicious, the staff is so nice everytime. The line was pretty long being the 4th of July, and the staff was still kind and accommodating. They had no problem providing samples and cracking jokes it was great!I got a scoop of the coffee toffee on a cake cone and my husband wanted the mint cookies and cream but they only had enough left for a half a scoop so they left him get two halves. He ended up getting that flavor and the regular cookie and cream on a waffle cone. We both loved our treat and will definitely be back (let's be real.... We always come back here)

Went here during the Fourth of July and was so happy we did! It was so hot outside and we were craving ice cream and passed this place! We went inside and it was pretty busy but the line went by very quickly! We went straight to the ice cream bar which is in the back past the fudge section. They had so many flavors to choose from. The girls at the counter were so nice and very helpful. They allowed us to do some taste testing. I got the toffee coffee and my fiancé got the mint cookies and cream. The prices are the best! Kids scoop was $3 and single scoop was $4. The portion sizes are massive. The single scoop was almost too much to eat! Highly recommend!

This is always a go to for a caramel apple with nuts and to watch them eat candy in the window. We have been doing this for over 20 years with the kids though now grown, we still do it. Love the wonderful smells the candies. Good in the fridge is good like all unique shops like this can be a little pricey, but if you're in town, recommend you stop by and get you some goodies.

The owner opened early so my 4th grade class could come in and watch him make candy. He was so nice and patient with 100 kids. Afterwards he gave all the kids a scoop of ice cream for an amazing price. If you go to VC stop here! I also got the fudge sampler and it was really good!

Tried their homemade caramel, yum. Bought my favorite fudge there, turtle. Been going for 40 years, always good.
