We stopped to get something to drink and use the bathroom on our way from Reno to Vegas. Decided to have lunch pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The Milkshakes are a must try maybe one of the best we have had. Hubby had chocolate I tried the strawberry both were amazing!!!

In general, Hawthorne city is a food desert, but this is shining becon on a lake. The food is way better than it has any business being in this area. The Korean bowl lives up to its name and the burgers are delicious (you won't need to ask for sauces on the side.) Also walking distance from a literal beach (with facilities and everything) on the lake if you just cross the street. Amazing place. Seriously if you're looking online for places to eat this is your best option unless you want to eat at a Diner in a casino or a McDonalds.

I am really kicking myself in the ass for having worked at the Hawthorne ranges for the last 3 months, and hearing from crew members all positive responses about this restaurant. Yet I have never bothered to make the extra drive to try it for myself until today, and I have to say that at 60 years old and many burgers I have eaten, the elk burger overall is one of if not the best damn burger I have ever eaten. I am looking forward to the Korean BBQ bowl that I also purchased for tonight's grub fest.
