Surprisingly really good Mexican food can be found in this most unlikely location or at least, in my opinion anyway and I should note, I developed my pallet growing up in Southern California. While the complimentary salsa isn't as spicy as I would prefer, it always is fresh, the taste is still spot on and I find that it appeals to most people. On our last visit, my wife ordered beef enchiladas and I got a chicken chimichanga and both arrived at our table hot and delicious...
This place is soooo good. I almost exclusively take the Wellington route when heading north or south on the 395, in large part so I can stop here for outstanding, reasonably priced Mexican food. The service is definitely top notch as well :)
Eating here was bittersweet. We’re not from the area, so I’ll likely never go again. Hands down best Mexican food I’ve had in decades. If you’re passing by you should make a point of stopping in.
