FULL INSPECTION — IRON SKILLET (Wells, NV) $24 and some change, and they earned every penny of it.
Man… let me tell you. I gave Iron Skillet another shot after that Montana situation — and Nevada came through like a redemption arc. Food came out QUICK, HOT, and FRESH. Chicken was fried right, mashed potatoes hit with that smooth brown gravy, broccoli & cheese wasn’t watery or sad, and that roll? Soft like it knew it was on camera.
Courtney took care of me too — service was on point, no attitude, no confusion, just straight hospitality. After that overcooked plate I had in Montana, I had to double back and see what they were really about… and Nevada didn’t let me down at all.
When a place fixes their reputation with your tastebuds? Yeah… that’s Tayst Approved.
This might be the only place around where you can have decent food, besides fast food.

I can't put zero stars so i'm going to put one. Slow service 🐌, not to mention the attitude of the waiter, i do not recommend this place. There's a taco 🌮 truck 2 blocks away.

It's sad that it's become so expensive to eat at a sit down restaurant, and then the food is mediocre at best. This is one of the reasons that drivers take food with them on the road. This used to be one of my favorite places to stop and eat and maybe gamble a little. Not anymore..

Ranch is not very good, Not many options available in this small town. This place is ok.... kind of expensive for what it is. Wife's sandwich was missing ham on half, Fries cod is ok. Place is outdated.
Show up here you better be hungry. Portions are very large. Breakfast anytime is a plus as well.

I am very surprised that they have a 3.5 rating! I had the chicken fried steak dinner with salad and soup and everything was excellent and the price was very reasonable! My server Susie was awesome too!!

I sat down for dinner and ordered a steak and a chicken sandwich to go. I get the to go 5 minutes before I get my dinner. When the young waitress brought me the to go, she just dropped it on the table. I felt there was no proffesinal or courtesy.
I came back and gave them a second chance it was 10 times better. The waitress was proffesinal prompt and made my dinning experience desirable.
