Food is great! Steaks have always been cooked to perfection. Fish meals are hit and miss, sadly its frozen but am great selection. Definitely worth a stop.

We were welcomed upon entry by a friendly hostess who greeted us with warmth and humor. Our server, Adrianna, was timely, helpful, and made wonderful recommendations. The portions were generous and flavorful. The folks in the back of the house know what they are doing as they masterfully combined ingredients to result in a fabulous meal. Thank you Omachea for making our pass through Winnemucca memorable.

1st visit after a locals recommended... salad was no thrills but ...beans were good, cabbage soup solid and.....the prime rib was one of the BEST (and largest) I've ever had! Great service, truly enjoyed this dinner!

Incredible lamb chops at Ormacheas Basque House in Winnemucca NV. One of the few things to Love in Winnemucca. After passing up box wine in Nebraska and canned wine in Wyoming was so grateful to find good bottled wine in Nevada. Dinner concluded with a delicious bread pudding.

The BEST steak I have had in YEARS. My son (17) says it’s the best of his whole life. We are from the city (Salt Lake) and no stranger to fancy restaurants and good food, but still impressed with Ormachea’s. My only regret is I have no reason to come back through this part of the world, but I might just drive the 5 hours from home just to come here.

This place was a total disappointment. Some had recommended it and the food and service was not worth the money. They never brought us all the plates included in the “basque” and even the bread we had to keep asking for it. The fish I got did not have much flavor. Restrooms were pretty clean. I would not go back!

This is the only five-star restaurant in this town. The other Basque restaurant is the McDnald's of Basque. Chicken fried steak with asparagus absolutely fantastic and cut it with a fork. The other place was some mystery meat the dogs weren't even interested in the leftovers. Had a martini made correctly and an Old fashioned. The leftovers the next day blow away the other restaurant. A lot of the other Basque restaurant is friends and family associates and employees posting reviews. Small town

I had an incredible dining experience. The service was top-notch-attentive and friendly. The lambchops were cocked to perfection, full of flavor, and tender. The garlic side was divide, adding a rich and savory flavor. Everything from ambiance to food quality exceeded.
