Got the fajita taco salad with carne asada. The meat was overcooked and chewy and was cut in large pieces. No knife was provided and it was incredibly difficult to bite and chew. It seemed like the meat was steamed. There were flies EVERYWHERE and everything was sticky. Had absolutely no table service, no refills were offered and we were not checked on. Overall I was disappointed.
This place has some dang good Mexican food! Wait times are tolerable, gargantuan portion sizes, and hands down, is delicious. It can get packed because the place is rather small and they're so good, but that's obviously why it's packed. Give it a try, you most likely will find yourself pleasantly surprised.
I miss not living in town for this place. I love the food, the chefs are amazing and make the best of food-a REAL taste of Mexico. I'm g-free and I haven't had any problems-you just need to know what to order. The cabbage salsa is to DIE for, and enchiladas are my favorite. The owner does an amazing job to make the customers and staff feel cared for. The servers are the sweetest and quick. Love this place! Best food in Yerington!
