If you’re looking for a place where breakfast, lunch, and mild confusion all collide, Casey’s is your spot.
We ordered the full spectrum of meals like we were filming a cooking show with no script:
🦐 My Shrimp Louie: A bold adventure. Some of the shrimp were still frozen together, like they were holding hands and refusing to accept their fate. But honestly? Still pretty decent. I broke them apart like a seafood archaeologist and powered through. 7/10 would defrost again.
🌯 Wife’s Breakfast Burrito: She loved it so much I’m pretty sure she considered writing it a Thank You card. Warm, hearty, delicious — the opposite of my shrimp ice cubes.
🥞 Son’s Pancakes: He crushed one and then tapped out like a man who knew his limits. Luckily, my wife and I heroically stepped in and “taste-tested” another pancake… for safety reasons. Parents don’t leave carbs behind.
All in all, Casey’s is quirky, tasty, and oddly thrilling. You never know if you’ll get hot food, cold food, or food that’s somewhere in between — but you will leave fed, amused, and slightly proud of yourself.
I felt like I stepped into the past. But, it was a nostalgic but lovely trip back. Food is hearty and filling. Service excellent and friendly.

We had such a great experience! The food was delicious and perfect for the whole family, the kid loved her meal and the burgers for adults were amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly and the staff were super nice and attentive. Definitely a great place to come with kids and enjoy a relaxed meal. Highly recommend!

Best meal I have had out in months and very reasonably priced. Cajun shrimp salad. They called them prawns. Big, tender perfectly spiced, 10 shrimp, that covered the entire salad. The salad was a mixed greens with plenty of diced cucumber and your choice of dressing but it needed none. I had a $5 happy hour margarita that was very good. I’ll be back.

Had a great breakfast at Caseys! Food and service was great. We live in Minden and heard about this place on 99.1 radio and thought to try it as we were heading up to the lake for the day. Looking forward to going back to try lunch or dinner.
