I HAVE NEVER LEFT A BAD REVIEW IN MY LIFE, BUT I COULDN'T LET THIS ONE GO!!! OUR SUSHI ROLLS WERE A JOKE. I WISH I HAD TAKEN A PICTURE BUT IT WASN'T EVEN WORTHY OF IT. It took 1 HR 30 MIN for our food to get to our table and the sushi was the worst sushi I've ever had in my life. I could've done a better job in presentation. Fish was stinky and old. Three rolls, 2 hand rolls ,$120, IThe chef needs some training in how to make sush .My experience was a joke. My friend and laughed in disbelief!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! I'VE READ THE 1 STAR REVIEWS AND RACISM SEEMS TO BE A FACTOR. I AM A PROUD MEXICAN. We came to this place after a long day of driving around Lake Tahoe. Good place for authentic sushi and other Japanese food. Much better and cheaper than the restaurants in the busy area close to the state bound line.

What a great little local joint. The staff are so friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is excellent. We tried appetizers, sushi, and dessert— everything was great. Only 2 minutes from the main part of South Lake. Highly recommend!
