Take out Sushi with a view of the lake. Amazingly fresh and delicious. My go to for sushi in South Lake Tahoe. I pass 4 other sushi places to get here.

This isn't the worst place. It was just okay. The sushi was very expensive, the portions were small and lacking in flavor. The sushi was a bit mushy. However, it did not taste fishy. Even though I frequently stay within walking distance of this restaurant, it's not good enough for us to return to.

Google online order does not work. I ordered and was charged but my order was not received by the restaurant. I had to wait another 20 mins and other to go customer had same issue while I was waiting. Fix your google order. I asked to make sure there was soy sauce for my sushi and when I got back to my resort there was only 1 packet for 3 orders. Very disappointed after day of skiing. Phone in our order!

First time here after an afternoon at Nevada Beach. Really delicious sushi. Try the Supersexi roll. Comfortable, family atmosphere. Food came out quick. Perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend!

Korean ran sushi joint. Sushi chefs have skills and experience. Sashimi is cut thick Korean style. Hope that you have the Korean aunty as your server. The darker probably Chinese dude server was rude and wouldn’t listen from the get go, didn’t know the menu, and got our order wrong.Fish is as fresh as you can get. Stick with simple maki’s, nigiri and sashimi. Stay away from sauced up rolls if you don’t want to spend $$$ for less fish. Go to sushi pier for that.

Went to this restaurant at 7:00 pm and there were only a few tables we ordered nigiri and broiled muscles it took 20 minutes for our nigiri and another 40 minutes before our waiter came to us and said the chef forgot it at that point we divided to put the bulk of our order in and heard the chefs sighing loudly, our waiter then brought us the check and said we can take our time to eat but we had to pay now we said we needed a few more items since they close at 9:00 pm he then said they close at 8:30 pm even though it's states on their page and on here that it is 9:00 pm and when we put in our last item again we heard the chefs make a fuss and proceeded to take another 20 minutes to make the one last roll.
Very expensive, mediocre atompshere and service. Their rolls are very plain yet most of them are in the $20+ range. Much better sushi spots in SLT.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!!! Whatever you do save yourself the absolute nightmare of ordering online from Harumi! I have tried now on four different occasions to order via three separate websites (DoorDash, Beyond Menu, & Clover) each time I was charged as well as received a confirmation that the order was received & being prepared. Each time without fail when I have shown up to pick up my order without fail they "never received the order" causing me to wait an additional 30-45mins for each order. In each instance I have dealt with the owner & they have NEVER offered a discount or way to make the experience better. The sushi is great but service sucks so dine in & do yourself the favor & DONT ORDER ONLINE!!!!!!!!

Leaving a review because I think the recent reviews on service were maybe a bit unfair. We ate on a Thursday night and it was pretty sleepy in the shopping center. Our group of 6 was greeted and seated immediately. Our sushi was fresh and those who had bento liked their food and portion sizes. Our server was a young woman who was very attentive. Sushi is pricey but let's be real, everything in Tahoe is pricey and inflation comes for us all. The restaurant was clean. People at the sushi bar seemed to be having a fun time.

A group of us had wonderful dinner , seems like a family, they were super friendly, and the service was great ! We had a variety from rolls to boxes ! The food was all amazing ! We are definitely going back !
