4&1/2 stars. Family friendly, not crowded or smokey. Service can be a little slow, food pricey for what it is, but typical for the Tahoe area. Nice windows, outside patio seating. Been here several times. Summer berry salad delish, chicken Alfredo extremely garlicky and expensive. Iced tea mid. Clean bathrooms.

Totally understaffed. Took 15 minutes just for the ONE waiter to take our order. Took another 30 minutes to get our food. Food didn't all come out at once. Not the fault of the waiter, but the management. I would not come back here, the food was nothing special. Partial view of the lake from the deck, but I would prefer a place with better food and better service.

My wife and I dropped in for a lunch at this place and had a beer and a grilled cheese sandwich out on their patio. The simple sandwich was really delicious. The service was wonderful and we could look out on the lake as we eat. We enjoyed it so much we went back for a second visit and had just as good food and service. Any time you go back to a place twice when you are on vacation you know it is good!
Came in shortly before closing and asked if it was okay to order — was told yes, but then was ignored when trying to place an order. Disappointing experience despite being polite and respectful.

Came in on a weekday at lunchtime. Sat at the bar, very open seating so not busy at all. An employee came out of the back, stood at the cash register facing out at the restaurant right in front of us, sighed and walked back into the back. A few minutes later someone else came out and we had to flag his attention to ask if we could eat at the bar. He gave us menus and walked away... didn't ask if we wanted a drink or anything. Never came back to take our order. We left and will not be back
