Great breakfast. Staying on east coast time, we stopped here for what would normally be our lunch. In October it's not super busy and they run minimal staffing with one server. Fireplace runs earlier in the morning providing a bit of warmth and adds to the rustic feel. While the entire Zephyr Cove restaurant and resort are part of Aramark, they try to give it an independent feel. The portions are generous and the food is well-prepared. Scrambled eggs were a bit buttery the second visit. Pancakes are fluffy and french toast was spot on. Hash brown potatoes had decent seasoning. Food was hot and pricing is about what you expect for a tourist town. Service is by no means fast and be sure to ask for whatever you think you'll need (ketchup, jam, etc. when you order your meal). It's a good spot to fill up at.
Parking: Small surface lot. If it's full, keep going or pay $12 to park at the beach.

It had a nice selection and variety in large food servings. It is a fun drive to each restaurant from the scenic views on the trip. There is horseback and a large riverboat near here. The food tasted homemade and just really good. I would definitely come back to this place!
Dietary restrictions: They had multiple fruit options if you are someone with dietary restrictions and eat gluten free foods.
Kid-friendliness: There was multiple kids there and throughout the park near California.
Wheelchair accessibility: They had a ramp entrance for people with wheelchairs.

Poor service. Took twenty minutes to get water and menu. Another twenty to order. Never checked on us once during meal. Asked for grilled onions and mushrooms on the side (at $2.99 each).
Received three grilled mushrooms and minuscule onions on my burger (which was tiny).
Finally, after waiting twenty minutes for our check, had to get up and find waiter to pay.
Will not make the mistake of eating here again.

About the only thing I can say about the place is that it's clean, the food is overpriced and the food is safe to eat. Other than that, I would drive past and dine somewhere else. The food was bland and the staff seemed as though they wanted to spend as little time with you as they could.
The people who work in this awesome facility are so friendly. The food was a pleasure and the atmosphere is pure old Tahoe. Our family loves coming here.

While my Rueben sandwich was pretty good, the fries were terrible, for $18. My husband got fish and chips, which consisted of two SMALL pieces of frozen fried fish and yucky fries. A child's portion at best, for $18.
The service was slow. Two servers and a girl helping with drinks and the bill. She was pleasant, the server we had couldn't have been forced to smile if his life was on the line.
I had two bottles of Coors Light beers almost $9 each.
The server didn't check on us until AFTER we'd asked he hotel for our bill.
The parking lot has only a dozen parking spaces, it was full. We parked behind at the gift shop.
There's one gender neutral bathroom for the whole restaurant, however there are additional restrooms by the gift shop.
In short, with all the places to eat around here, we won't be back.
The attached gift shop was very nice (and well over priced). The staff there was delightful.

Horrible service, I wanted to sub something and he took off before I even finished ordering. I asked a busser if I could switch it, and he said no.

Service and atmosphere and price as expected. Visited two days after the 4th of July. After a horrible Eggs Benedict several years ago at one of the casinos we drove the next morning to Zephyr Lodge and had one of the very best Eggs Benedict I have ever had. Couldn’t wait to get back. Returned on the 7th. Nearly the worst ever. Eggs Benedict with no meat? No ham no bacon no Canadian Bacon, not even Spam. Cooked tomato and spinach. Not this country boy. Besides $50 for two breakfasts one coffee and small (reasonable) tip. Next time a pancake joint.
Ordered summer berry salad (hardly any berries .. 2-3 strawberries and 6 or so blueberries), grilled chicken didn't taste grilled. French onion soup not worth the try. Service acceptable. Maybe they have a good breakfast or milkshake? But after trying lunch, wouldn't return.
