Jrecks subs stood out as the best sub shop because of their fresh rolls. They have since changed the rolls and they come in frozen. The rolls are thinner, smaller and fall completely apart. I had family that flew up from Florida and Jrecks was the only place they ate everyday until a couple weekends ago when she got a sub and noticed immediately the roll was different and less enjoyable. Needless to say she did not go back. Jrecks no longer stands out for the best in the sub roll business. Please go back to the other rolls. Stand out from the rest because now you aren’t the best.

Disappointing trip. Went in today for a sub (this was a special treat for myself) ...no line, and not too busy in the store. I was talking to a friend, so not paying too much attention when the sub was being made.
When I got home (take out order), it seriously looks like there is one piece of meat on each half...and it doesn't even go to the end of the roll. UNACCEPTABLE and SO DISAPPOINTING.
When you pay as much as you do for a full sub, it should have some substance - otherwise, what am I paying for? A meal for your money....really? This experience was unacceptable, Adams NY.

They ask me if I need somthing cooked like it's an issue if I do..asked the same question 5 times instead of writing it down one time.. also cold sub got 1 slice of ham..1! It was a topping sub basically. . Fries were good because they didnt have to prepare them.. get the fries

Food is good depending on who is working. Three young guys were working last night and I was not pleased with the service. I had called and placed an order. While taking my order on the phone they were goofing off and laughing and never asked for my name for my order. I get there to pick up my order and they were all confused which one was mine. Then they finally found it. I had ordered 2 of the exact same subs and one sub was correct and the second one was completely wrong. Sick of the lousy service from this location. Every time I go there either food is over cooked or just completely wrong.

I love Jrecks. I mean I really really love it. Some might say I have an obsession. I've even got to the trouble of having their rolls shipped to me out of state when that was slightly more reasonable than flying home for lunch. But this particular visit on this particular day at this particular location there was something amiss with the rolls. They weren't soft pillows of cold cut goodness we all know and love. Maybe a bad batch? None the less you won't lose me over it. But do please make sure those rolls are on point next time! ❤️
