😎this place is a true diamond in the rough - dining space is a bit small. but would be well worth the wait - the food is truly home and heart made - the waitress was very nice and the chef stopped by to see how we were doing. As far as the portions, we brought home about half of what was served - the cornbread was next level - actually the food was next level - we have already recommended it to some friends who I believe will be there in the next couple of days - this is a destination, please do not let the exterior (or even the interior fool you)

Worst service I have ever had at any restaurant. Ordered 2 steak subs. 20 minutes later we were told the only had enough meat for one sandwich. We switch the other sandwich to a cheeseburger sub. Another 20 minutes later the lady came out of the kitchen and told use they had no lettuce for either sandwich. We told her no problem we would take them both with out lettuce. 15 minutes later she brought out the steak sub it had almost zero steak on the roll. I waited 15 more minutes for my husband’s cheeseburger sub. The entire time we were waiting I watched a handful of adults and children going into the kitchen area. We waited an hour and 20 minutes before we walked out. I didn’t even touch my sandwich. $35 for nothing but a waste of our time

Out of brisket when I got there but, with how cheap and delicious it is that’s expected late in the day. Opted for kielbasa and pulled pork.

Came when Google said they were open. 1:15 on a Friday. Not open. No sign explaining hours.

I went back in for lunch after they just reopened with some new menu items. I haven't had a bad meal here yet. For a $15 lunch you get great portion sizes. Everything came out hot and quickly, and it was all delicious. There are video games for the kids, some nice background music, and even some basic grocery supplies in the back. If you haven't eaten here in a while, it's time to check it out again!

Kid-friendliness: Arcade Games!

Dietary restrictions: The owner, Lee, is pretty knowledgeable about gluten sensitivity and can always make recommendations for me.

Stopped in for lunch while cycling through. Food was some of the best BBQ I've had, and plenty of it. The place is eclectic, with some good old-school vocal jazz playing, a couple video games, tables and a diner-style bar to eat at. And a wall of convenience-store types of sundries available for purchase.

Went here on a whim and found it to be less than expected, dust on surfaces within the restaurant, staff was on her phone most of the time. She was nice and the cook was very nice as well. They only accepted cash, and the décor did not go along with the place being a BBQ joint. Also feel that they have too much going on between the place being a BBQ restaurant yet they offer subs, soups, etc. Prices were good. Wait was long for food, and the atmosphere overall was not inviting. Feel as though the staff should have reviewed specials, and encouraged dining in versus giving no option and packing food to go which also discourages people from coming in and seeing the place as busy and inviting.
