Not impressed with the lack of ability to retain a order properly not just once or I would be leaving a review

Called at 12:17pm ordered a sub, mozz sticks, small pizza and chicken finger dinner, was told an hour for delivery. Called back at 1:40pm asking where the food was, was informed the pizza was now in the oven. 2:10 delivery. Pizza was fresh out of the oven, chicken was burnt, fries were 1/2 cooked. Mozz sticks also over cooked.

I just got a job in Alden so this was my 1st time trying this place. I was trying to find a menu and came across the reviews. After reading some I was a little hesitant about wanting to try the place. I'm glad I decided to give it a shot. My sub was delicious. I think people don't take the time out to leave reviews when they are satisfied. But they make time when something goes wrong and needs to vent to the whole world. We'll my sub was good. Thank you.

Ordered take out tonight and we ordered 2 double cheese burgers, 2 fish fry’s, 1/2 a pizza sub, and 2 orders of cheese fries… my husband went and got it and when he arrived there was only one double cheese burger and one order of nacho fries. He re ordered another double cheese burger because we needed that for one of our kids, the extra order of fries we did without. He gets home and the fish fries had NO Coleslaw or macaroni salad!! Neither of them!! And the “tartar sauce” was straight up ranch dressing!! Needless to say we will not be returning customers and I will make sure to warn anyone if they order from there to double/triple check their meals before they leave! Very disappointed!

John & Mary's Alden has been our go to place for Royal subs. The last several times we ordered it was different. The sausage is very spicy & crumbly. There was less cappicola and too much lettuce and minimal oil. I saw them making it and they now use ground sausage, portioned with an ice cream scoop and smashed with their hand to flatten. Both my husband and I were so sick last night after eating there. We will have to find a new place for our Royal sub.
Great place . Had a nice Beef on Wick and enjoyed some mushrooms. Place was clean easy parking.

Ordered a seafood basket which was supposed to come with macaroni salad and coleslaw. Ordered 2 blue cheeses and requested tartar sauce.
I received 2 fish sticks and 3 shrimp along with a handful of clams and shoestring french fries. Received no coleslaw, no tartar sauce and no blue cheese. What I thought was tartar sauce was actually Caesar salad dressing, which I had no use for.
Called John and Mary’s and was told I could drive back to get the forgotten items, which I did.
Received 1 tablespoon of coleslaw and they threw in 1 tablespoon of macaroni salad for my trouble (photo is zoomed in portion sizes are tiny).
Big disappointment. Not planning to go back anytime soon.
