My friends recommended this place to grab lunch while we were visiting town for a concert. It's definitely a typical "tavern" vibe, but the food was pretty good as well! I really liked the queso and the Italian grinder sandwich. The server was also pleasant albeit he probably could have been a little more attentive. I don't necessarily see myself coming back here because when I visit Dallas there are just too many options that I haven't tried yet, but I can see how it would be a local hangout for sure.

The atmosphere is fun and the food is not bad. We went there on trivia night and that was a lot of fun. We had the steak frites and split the entrée. It was perfect for two people that weren't very hungry.

Great atmosphere and yummy food. Come for trivia and happy hour specials. The service is excellent.

We came here unintentionally with a group of 12 after getting Christmas trees and we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was AMAZINGLY accommodating for vegetarian/celiac disease needs. They even went to buy gluten free chips when we found out they didn't have them. They answered our gazillion questions without hesitation and were willing to make accommodations to avoid contamination. My daughter with celiac said it was the best meal she ever had! Well done.

Not sure what happened here. Food used to be awesome but definitely went downhill in a hurry. Waited over a hour and came out all wrong. This is our 3 Rd time since it changed hands and each time has been all wrong and not enjoyable. Some bartenders are good most not so much. Food is 1 star.

The food is good, but VERY expensive for what you get. My sandwich was $18 and I had to pay separately for a side (and all their sides are approx $7-$10 each). I just wasn't expecting that at a local, casual tavern. The service was decent. I did really enjoy the vibes - good "tavern" atmosphere without feeling like a dive bar. I would go back for a drink but probably wouldn't eat there again only because I could get a really nice meal elsewhere for $30 a plate.

Originally we wanted to order the steak and they were out by 8pm, which isn't a huge deal as we were mostly there for drinks.Decided to try the Katsu Chicken Wing special, it was mid at best. The fries were a bit over seasoned and the flavors were just a little off. Lots of garnishes, not enough flavor.Waitress was fast and nice and for that I'll go with 4 star over a 3 star review.

Zero service. We had a group of 4 & all agreed if there's consistently not enough attentive waitstaff, then pivot to mobile/table ordering It's too bad because the food is actually pretty good if you get the chance to actually order something (although the salsa can use some tweaking). We noticed there was one person walking around taking orders so to make the rest of the night easier on everyone, we decided to order two bottles of wine so we could help by serving ourselves for the rest of the night and it took 20+ minutes waiting for that before we had to finally walk up to the bar & ask for it ourselves along with table waters that we also never received. Waitress still didn't actually bring anything- the bartender filled in. Checked on us probably once every 30-45 minutes which is not what you're looking for at a bar - we would have ordered much more but didn't trust it anymore so finally walked over and asked for the check so we could find a new spot to go for dinner. We were understanding and nice - would have been 100% more understanding on top of that if staff had stayed "hey, we're short staffed tonight so if I don't see you please flag me down" but it seemed biz as usual / apathetic

Staff is very pretentious. Food is SALTY, coming from someone who puts salt on everything. I had the chicken Caesar wrap, $18.00 (a spinach tortilla, some lettuce and a chicken thigh that was totally over seasoned and not properly deboned, and I literally choked on the bone) and a 16oz Miller lite, $7. First of all, if you're going to charge me $18 for a "wrap" it needs to be unquestionably good. Second, $7 for a draft domestic beer is a little outrageous. I am grateful actually that the waitstaff wasn't attentive enough to offer a refill. I totally would've taken the bait without thinking to ask pricing. The place is fairly cluttered up with couples in their 50s sipping their overpriced Sauvignon Blanc and looking down their nose at you while doing so. I'm assuming a lot of what's detailed above is by design to keep the riffraff out, or to price certain demographics out of the equation.. Not saying they are racist, but not everyone can afford to go here and have a simple grilled bologna sandwich and a beer. Oh, wait. It's mortadella.... And champagne pricing on Miller Lite -_-So all and all $35.00 with tip for a wrap that I'd rate 3 out of 10 best case, and (should be) Cheap beer that isn't quite cold enough for outrageous prices. I think you guys genuinely suck.

This place is a hidden gem. Food, drinks, and ambiance are all in point. This trip we opted for the cobb salad and chicken wings. The cobb salad was well dressed and flavorful. Only this i would do its sear or roast the tomatoes. The wings were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The bar tender Chris was professional and courteous. The drinks made were perfectly crafted and surprisingly inexpensive given today's costs. All under $15 at the time of this review. We will be back to further explore the menu.

Staff is great.... food is good, great for a laid back time. Staff remembers you and we all love that! Love the location and it's really for locals!

Their fries are some of the best like, ever. And their menu is really great but you might not be super pumped if you're a vegetarian. There are tons of TVs, both inside and outside and a lot of seating.

I was meeting a friend for brunch down in Dallas, and this is our go to. Easy to be seated, fun atmosphere. Good drinks list. And tasty tasty food. The service was great today, I got some bubbles, and we shared the tuna tartare nachos. We cleaned the plate, such a good mix of sauces. I then had the grinder. It was a super tasty sandwich. Pipes of meat on a super fresh roll. I ate it all!!
