My wife and I, 20 year old son, 17 year old daughter, my mother in law and my wife’s sister (gluten-intolerant) had lunch after a visit to Boldt Castle. Our server was Carol and she was exceptional, and managed our orders perfectly. I had the fried shrimp (10-12 medium and butterflied)—just what I wanted. My mother in law ordered the Reuben but it was not to her liking and opted to have it replaced for the shrimp I was having, which she and I enjoyed much. My daughter enjoyed the grilled cheese, but I cannot recall what my wife or son ordered. Nonetheless it was a very nice experience and food overall, added to immensely by our server. Thank you and we will be back!

Dined on Monday the 23rd of Aug. 21 EXCELLENT!! They were very BUSY and short staffed. Our waitress "Kaylee" took us on :) Polite and generous! Still the BEST CLASSIC MARTINI in the bay! Also THE ONLY HOME MADE 1000 ISLANDS dressing. Unlike a certain "Smoked Restaurant" down the street offering a home made sauce that is commercial BBQ and Dressing.

Several locals recommended this restaurant and we're so glad we took their advice. The prime ribs was delicious and a very generous portion. Turkey dinner with all the trimmings was a special that evening and was also excellent. Another plus was the irresistible homemade dinner rolls which were so light and airy. Despite staffing shortages everywhere, the service was outstanding and our server (Rene') was very friendly & attentive. We also appreciated the comfortable dining room with plenty of space between tables. It was a very nice experience!

The cocktails and food was good. We ordered margarita, piña colada, soup and salad. Everything was tasty. The hostess, young girl was grumpy.. would’ve been nice to see a smile on her face. But our waiter was great.

They have awesome seafood. Had fried haddock which was perfect. My husband had fried perch which was really good as well. They are short staffed like the rest of the places but our order didn't take longer than usual.
We ate their for dinner 3 times and each time was great. The Prime Rib was outstanding. Service was also great. Would definitely eat there again.

If I could leave less stars I would. The food was mediocre and that's me being generous. What really was atrocious is the attitude of the man who either owns or runs the place. I went to complain about our clam appetizer (which was not just gritty but had mud formations within the clams), missing parts to our actual meal, as well as our bill coming up incorrectly (price charged did not match our ordered entree prices), and I was met with nothing but annoyance and rudeness. He tells me "Just pay 50 bucks. Does that make you happy?" Honestly, a simple apology would have been all that was necessary. I did not walk into a restaurant to order a meal and not pay for it. Do not treat your customers like they are trying to eat for free when they come to you with complaints about how your establishment is functioning. He was very clear in letting me know that he was "too busy to be arguing with me like this" when I was standing in the bar with 5 individuals. The entire restaurant had about 7 tables when we dined and they had about 7 to 8 employees floating around not doing much so his "i am too busy" was his way of saying f off. Waste of time and money. Would highly recommend you do NOT visit this establishment. Save your money and your mental health. This meal comes with a dose of rudeness and not enough seasoning.

What a great local spot right in the middle of the Village!! Sat at the bar and was waited on by the owner, great guy. Food was delicious.
