Rooms are a bit dated but priced to match. No real complaints

It’s not as bad as some of these reviews make it seem. Hotel is dated for sure but rooms are fine. Clean with some newer vinyl plank flooring. Slight musty smell but we brought a dehumidifier at the advice of some colleagues and it really helped. Beds are comfortable enough to sleep. Cable tv is a little fuzzy but works. If you’re coming here for the diving and outdoors, you’ll be fine in the room.

They need to start putting money into the place - seems like it just gets older and older each year.
If they are going to keep this place it is time for some real renovations

We didn't stay in the rooms, we went for the scuba park, which is amazing. Wether you hang out at the platform or go check out the car or boats, it's awesome.

9/11/25 my mother was physically assaulted by the bartender here.

They were here dining at the Manor House restaurant. After waiting 45 minutes for salad to come out they got frustrated and asked what the delay was. The server brought the bartender out who proceeded to yell and film them(my mother and friends). For simply asking what’s taking 45 minutes for salad to come out?
My mother asked them not to film them and the bartender grabbed my mother by the neck and hit her head on the wall.
WHAT THE HELL??
What planet is this?

Worst room I’ve ever rented.
The smell of stall, cigarette and mold maybe was over the top. Do not stay here.

Amazing Venue! I love to DJ weddings at this location.
Beautiful views of the water. Looking right over at Boldt Castle. Food is great every time. The staff is always nice to work with I never have a problem.

Rooms very dated and smell musty. Not clean. Service was very slow at restaurant/ bar. Location was great and it’s got a lot of potential, just needs some love

I fell the day before my reservation at Bonnie Castle and couldn't walk. I tried to cancel my reservation and get a refund because I was injured and couldn't go. They refused to give me a refund and said I agreed to a non-refundable reservation. No one ever mentioned that and I certainly never agreed to it. After dealing with the liers at Hotel Planner (where I was sent) I called the hotel directly, which is where I made my reservation, NOT at hotel planner, and was told I did not make my reservation directly with Bonnie Castle. I called Bonnie Castle to make my reservation and spoke to a young man at Bonnie Castle. I did not make a reservation at hotel planner. The young man said he needed my account number to hold the reservation. But after I hung up, they took $660.00 from my account immediately. Please don't give your money or business. They are not reputable.

This hotel was very expensive, offered no view. Had to climb 3 flights of stairs with husband with back problems. Location was good.

Honest review, the people were VERY nice. Rooms were perfectly fine for a night or two but fixtures very dated and not well maintained/updated. Front desk advised that the exterior balcony door handles have a “push button” deadbolt handle and if keys are locked in they would have to use a “special key” to open the room. (Same locks you find on apartment doors). We all know that means a crow bar as evident on the door frame of our room. Indoor pool is heated but area is not cleaned with an excessive amount of visible wear and actual grime in tiles, dirt in the bottom of the pool, mildew on cushions, and actual rust on multiple surfaces. Ladies bathroom in pool area has creepy ceiling mirrors with the light switch on the wrong side of the door opening. Great view of Boldt Castle from balcony outside of excessively grimy wall to wall windows and a heavy and again grimy sliding glass door that was very hard to open. Might just be that it’s off/end of season being the summer but the reason we picked this resort was for the indoor pool. Again VERY nice people running this but this seemed to be something that was continually not maintained.

Rooms filthy. Black mold in shower, bugs in jacuzzi, floors dirty and looked like my toilet had not been cleaned in an extremely long time. There was a scum ring around the bowl. Trash and overgrown weeds through out the property in the beds and everywhere. Not worth the money at all.

Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, spacious, all you need in the room. The place is outdated, but still a great spot. few minute walk to uncle sam boat tour and the rest of the restaurants and shops. Front desk lady was very nice and helpful. Only thing was when we called, whoever answered was rude.
