We had a problem with our drinks that were not made correctly and barely had any alcohol in them. When we spoke to the waiter, he didn’t take proper action to correct the problem and no one came over to try to rectify the problem.
If a restaurant does not take the correct action to satisfy it customers, it doesn’t deserve business.

Went for dinner around 6:45pm, decided to sit inside as no tables open outside. Waited 15 minutes for a waiter to get our drink order. He was very polite. Had the best pork chop/potato/salad ever!!! However the loud entitled out of towners were obnoxious as were the locals from the bar who sat down next to us, literally screaming at each other!!! So food was exceptional...atmosphere sucked!!! Wait staff spread to thin. The old lady pouring water should have been taking orders and helping her staff!!!

Takes a few to get your order in on the computer, if you have an allergy make sure to say something as we had a child that can’t have tomato. Other than that the place is pretty interesting and the food is really good. You definitely get the bang for your buck with the burgers.

Apple bruschetta drowned in honey, just a drizzle would have been better, garnish of lettuce not needed and didn't add any flavor. Ordered salad and asked if I could add a protein. Was told I could, so I asked for salmon, received a lightning response that they never add salmon to a salad, never. So then I asked for shrimp. After placing order we waited 30 minutes for appetizer to arrive and another 30 minutes later my salad arrived, again overdressed (salad was sitting in quite a bit of liquid), with 4 medium grilled shrimp. When the bill arrived one appetizer and 2 salads with only water to drink came to $78. I then realized that the 4 medium shrimp cost $16 and my salad was $15. When I questioned it with the wait staff I was curious why 4 medium shrimp cost more than my entire salad. I was told that was the cost. They didn't have items you can add so they gave me the shrimp a la cart price. So I asked if when a diner comes in and orders the shrimp from the a la cart menu are they only given 4 medium size shrimp? Yes, I was told. My poor waitress was at a loss to understand my discontent and had to refer me to another waitress, who looked right at me and then turned away and listed the laundry list of things she was in the middle of and she couldn't speak to me. Then they were going to get someone from the kitchen. By this time, I had been there almost 2 hours for this salad and water and told them I couldn't stay any longer. They were obviously very short-staffed and not able to meet all the needs of their patrons. My intent was to just even get some level of understanding or empathy from the staff that they would try to do better for patrons in the future. By being more transparent and informative with the guest in front of them who is unfamiliar with their menu, especially those visiting the restaurant for the first time. Even a little empathy would have been a welcome relief to know I had at least been heard with my concern. Mind you all of this was taking place after I had paid my bill and was not looking or seeking a refund. Simply said I will not be frequenting the restaurant in the future and hope this review will reach someone's ears. All I simply ask is please do better. I struggled to give more of a tip even though I had a strong desire to help out the kind waitress who who took care of us because of the expense of the bill, it short-changed what I could have given in a larger tip to the wait staff.

Food was not very good and portions were quite small, especially considering the price. They would not accommodate my need to order a smaller portion or off the kids menu, so 3/4 of my meal was wasted. Most restaurants will accommodate this request, especially when a table orders several full-sized meals and appetizers. Most people dinning here are tourists and do not have the ability to store, carry or use up leftovers. What a waste of food...but considering the food was not very good, it was still a waste of money.

Decent venue. Great street side seating outdoors. Tables and chairs were clean. Food was average. Menu offers a decent amount of American foods with a sensible sea food bias bearing near a dock l. Burgers are excellent. Kaylie (spelling!) gave us decent service. Hostess was friendly and inviting.

The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the haddock tacos and the lobster poutine fries. If you sit outside watch for the red bugs in June.

Had a wonderful time here. My partner had the lobster risotto, I had a lobster roll. The lobster was clearly fresh and it was all delicious. Wrapped everything up with their creme brulee. Definitely recommend!
Back from the Uncle Sam boat tours and we were kinda hungry was passed our lunch time and we didn’t want to eat fast food by the island. So we waited til we get back.
Didn’t had the chance to see the reviews about this place so we saw the menu outside and decide to give it a try.
We planned to have quick small food because yesterday was my birthday and wanted to have nice dinner somewhere else.
So our server was Dalton (based from our receipt) she was the sweetest.
We ordered lobster bisque and Cuba island panini.
Lobster bisque for me was not good, from the looks of it and the taste was like more vegetables bisque.
Cuba island panini was not bad. They toasted the bread little too much, when I bite the sandwich the bread is kinda hard to bite and most of the meats cheese and pickle came out from the bread and messy.
We ate inside with one other couple, 20 minutes to get water. We ordered haddock sandwiches times 2.. one with fries and one with chips. Also broiled scallops and a burger with chips and Lobster poutine. 10 minutes for the poutine to be shared between the 4 of us. The poutine had fried potatoes not fries with no pieces of lobster to be seen with cheese curd. I would never call that poutine. Waited again for our meal all together 45 minutes. The burger was ordered rare to pink and it was well done all the way thru, the haddock sandwich was ok but we ordered that with fries which came out to be fried potatoes or home fries.wr also ordered the scallops which were very small that kooked loke bay scallops. All for 100 dollars. Worst meal ever never to return. We will never go there again and would not recommend this restaurant if you have never been there
$65 for 2 entrees, a large salad/appetizer to share with drinks. Not bad. Food was good with reasonable portions (not ridiculous-sized). Good beer selection. Excellent atmosphere either inside and outside.
Would be nice to have a vegetarian protein option, but hey, it's Alex Bay. Fish tacos were good - not over-the-top blackened cajun style. Caprese salad was fresh and unexpected in a good way. Mushroom risotto was good according to my dining companion.
Recommended as an alternative to the burger and pizza joints and diners in town.
Arrived at 7:45. Sat inside. No one came to our table for 15 min. Guest at the bar was so loud and obnoxious yelling and talking so loud, by 8:03 we were about to walk out but waitress finally came with water. Ordered soup, bread, and duck nachos. Food came 40 min later. Soup was not hot, and had a thick skin on it. Sent it back. Bread was the best thing but cost $6. Duck nachos had time amount of duck, no crispy skin... Blah. I wouldn't recommend. There are plenty of other places to eat. The dockside pub has way better service and food.
