Spent $36 on beverages to go with meal, only to be informed they ran out of propane and they would not be bringing our food. Refused to give any compensation because they had to close and were losing money

Party of 10, ordered beverages, sat and waited for at least 30 minutes only to have server come and say they ran out of propane and would not have any food. No compensation was offered, we spent 36.00 on a beer, a mixed drink and 7 sodas for nothing! We were told that they had to close and were losing money. Is that my fault??? So 730 at night we are finding another restaurant and purchasing another round of beverages to go with food.

Never before was asked to leave because the restaurant runs out of propane and then asked to pay for all of the drinks that weren’t even gone yet. Ridiculous is an understatement.

We came here to eat and they ran out of propane we had already been there for 30 minutes. we had a party of 10 and we already had drinks and they still charged us for drinks and basically kicked us out it was not worth our time at all and they were not willing to give drinks free for our inconvenience or a discount. Beyond annoyed with this place. If I could leave a worse review I would. Never going there again.

If there was a way to leave 0 stars I would we got there sat down got all of our drinks ordered our food then a half hr after we ordered the come to us told us they were closed told us to pay for our drinks and go somewhere else will never recommend this establishment

Got a steak sandwich with fries, and my family got pasta or the burgers. Portions and food quality were amazing. Just one pasta dish itself would be enough to feed two people! The fish and chips were massive and were flavorful. Everyone was very stuffed and satisfied, even if we didn’t get appetizers. Staff were nice and helpful, but it did take a while to get our food, maybe about 20 minutes. The wait was worth it though! Nonetheless, still really happy with my dinner and would come again if I visit upstate NY again!

Riverboat Bar and Restaurant is always one of our stops when visiting Alexandria Bay. I love the sailboat bar, it represents the Bay so well. It’s just a fun atmosphere! It seems every visit Megan is behind the bar, serving drinks and tending bar with a smile and always offering great recommendations! They frequently have live bands and are jamming. There is a sit down restaurant and outdoor that we have dined in as well. I ordered the Riverboat Burger on our second visit of the weekend. It was pink and juicy with Mayo, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and for a twist pineapple! Fries were seasoned well, I will definitely be ordering again! We will back!
