😊I have eaten here many times, especially summer and deep into fall. We bring family. We bring friends from out of state. We find the menu consistently creative, lots of choices, many things to like. Hard to pick a favorite, but like fish tacos and paninis, plus apps. Some of the desserts can be just awesome. I'll be there again at least several times this summer. Always find the people nice and welcoming. I have had lunch (mostly) and dinner, and even met for business of a non-profit there. It is a favorite place on the river.

My husband & I were told we’d have to wait half an hour. We get called that a table is ready. A couple was just in front of us after we had waited; they got seated immediately. Not sure why we had to wait- there were open tables available when we first got there! There were bees everywhere. The food took an HOUR to come out!! We were given the excuse of a “fight in the kitchen” but nothing was taken off the bill nor were we given bread or anything for the unbelievably long wait! My husband was brought the complete wrong order, then his meal came out another 15+ minutes later! And not all of his order. The second item never came. Don’t waste your day waiting for food here! đŸ€Ź

Welcoming and good service. The cocktails were nice. The salmon on this night was good but overcooked slightly I would try it again with our friends who brought us there.

I would not eat here again. Slow service ( could be staffing issue ) $15 for 5 tiny GREASY lobster rangoons. They were the size of a pizza roll. It was my birthday and that was the worst place I could’ve gone. Lobster roll is $25 and it’s not even a real lobster roll. DO NOT

Salmon in bacon - delicious, tacos - had cold meat and generally nothing special. The burger was nothing special, it wasn't bad, but the quality was a bit lacking.

We went to Alex Bay for vacation this year. While we were there, we ate at the Spot twice (lunch on one day and dinner on another day.). We had great meals both times. Service was always bright and friendly. Food was excellent. We'll be back.

The best grilled 14 Oz prime rib I have ever had. Cooked perfectly medium rare and seasoned so well. Waitress was wonderful. Interesting menu

We weren't told until we tried to order that they were out of both appetizers we wanted. They serve sub-par potato chips with all sandwiches and then charge you $4 to upgrade to french fries. The turkey panini was underwhelming. The shrimp tacos were fine, but they come with chips??? Couldn't even manage some rice?

Outdoor seating in summer was great. The price fits my expectations for touristy town, total $95 for two people, each had one mains and two beers. While we were seated immediately, food and drink took a long time to come out.I tried the beer battered fried fish, and it was delicious. However, the side, fingerling potatoes, seemed undercooked and had apple-like crunchiness ? my friend ordered lobster ravioli, and he throughly enjoyed the dish.

Hostess deserves a raise! She did an amazing job handling an understaffed wait staff. She was kind and as attentive as she could be. Had a delicious Pina Colada and paninis. Very cute patio to have lunch at as a tourist!

My husband, myself and another couple where there 7/9/22 for supper. Our waitress had a great personality. Our meal took forever to come and people that ordered after us were served long before we got our food. When we inquired where our meals were we were told the lobster raviolis and scallops took longer to prepare (this was after an hour of waiting). I had clams, which were also the size of a dime and our other friend had blackened perch which wasn’t the greatest. We asked about having some compensation due such a long wait time but were told no. Asked to talk to the manager, who came out and he was also an owner. When we told him our concerns and included that were were four small lobster raviolis and the scallops were super tiny he proceeded to make excuses about the cost of items. The owner had no customer service at all. We didn’t expect a free meal but a discount would be appreciated. I wouldn’t go here again. The cost of the food and the amount of food doesn’t equal. We are definitely not cheap stakes when it comes to paying for a hood meal. I wish I would have taken pictures of the food to post on my review. We went to Riley’s by the River for lunch that day and the food was delicious! Good luck if you go here for a meal. I will not be giving any more of my hard earned money to this establishment.
