Hidden gem with irregular schedule. Seemed like mostly serving regulars. The approach and ground level tables are rustic at best, however when you make it upstairs the interior is most impressive, and there is a whimsical patio that has direct access to a pond. I mean the blue, clear, deep water is right at the edge of the patio and you can actually dine steps away from the ladder that leads into the water to swim (as some folks actually do). The view is gorgeous. The menu is very simple (pizza and wings) and so was our server. The pizza was excellent.

I had the best time at humming bird! It’s one of the most stunning places I’ve ever been (and I’ve travelled A LOT) and deb is so amazing, accommodating, and lovely. You must check this place out!

It is a shame that a family owned property with so much history was stolen away. Mikey was so talented, and someone took advantage of his drinking problem. Hummingbird Hill could have been a true treasure.

Went to a regional Burning Man event here and the location was wonderful. I am not sure if this is only for events or open camping but I would recommend going her if you have the chance. There is a pond for swimming, plenty of open space for camping in wide open fields or semi secluded areas, and a clubhouse for events. I am looking forward to returning again next year!

The rules are very permissive, the exposire to nature is wonderful, and there's even a convenient wifi connection if you need to hook up to the real world.
