Went to Salmon River Falls and wanted a place for lunch. Altmar Hotel was close by and reviews looked good. A nice country eatery, dining room with bar. Clean and friendly. Large menu to choose from. I ordered Turkey BLT (came with kettle chips! and dill pickle) Sandwich was huge and delicious!! Could have a choice of roast beef or ham if you like . I had an ice tea/lemonade. My companion had a huge cheese burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. Cooked to order. Also chips and dill pickle. They were very happy with their choice too. Bottled water. I hadn't noticed a board, across from me, with soup selections. I got a bowl of scallop, potato, ham to go. It sounded very appetizing and I wasn't disappointed. Chunks and chunks and chunks of all 3 ingredients. So flavorful. A winner in my book. My bill was just under 20 bucks and my friend's was under 15. Service is quick, helpful, and friendly!!

First time there and it was awesome. My daughter and I split the chicken parm for lunch and still had a ton to bring home..the portions are crazy for the price...will definitely be going back!!!

Great food. It's not the best service. Seems like you have to know a server or bartender for decent service. Expect to wait a while too.
