We decided to drive 33 miles to this restaurant, on someone's referral. It was my 76th birthday. When we arrived everything seemed very nice. It is definitely lodge like, which was fine. Our service girl came to our table, and said hello, and was this a special occasion. My Husband said, well yes, it is her birthday. Our service girl said well, we don't sing at the only able,but you receive a complementary dessert. We said fine, and the dinner arrived. The vegetables were a little bit scorched (flavor) but the main was nice. Upon finishing we had coffee and a tea, and thought I would be asked for my dessert selection- I wasn't, and at that point out came a cupcake with a candle in it for another table? At that point there were several singing happy birthday? Quit curious, I thought. As my Husband was paying the check, I excused myself and went to the ladies room, and to the car. At my age, you always wonder how many of THOES birthday evening you will have? This one was interesting to say the least.

Fish and chips were great. Pretzel appetizer was good. French onion soup was very good. Salad was good. Risotto was gummy, not creamy..

We arrived late because an earlier appointment ran much longer than expected, but the staff was so understanding. We were scheduled as the last massages for the day and they were able to give us almost the entire 90 minutes we originally booked. The massages were just what we needed after our stressful day. I'll definitely visit again, and again!

Perfection!!! From their rolls with jalapeño jam/whipped butter, appetizers (Duck quesadillas were my husband's favorite), Fresh Cesear salad and dinner everything was delicious! I had the homemade gnocchi in cream sauce with skirt steak. It was so amazing!!! Our server was friendly and was always there when we needed her. Wish we had room for dessert because they sounded awesome as well! My daughter's wedding is there next May, and we are so excited that we picked such a wonderful place! Did I say it was perfection, understatement!!!

We spent over $400 on a very mediocre meal. For that much money, it would be nice to have recognized the very good tasting food. This is not the first time we have been to tail water, however given the amount of money, it cost to come there it may be the last

Annie made me a raspberry martini it was excellent! I was with my stepmom's family, and went for the Easter Brunch. It was amazing as always, I also had a “Peeps” martini it was so good!!! I've never had a bad meal or drinks there!!!🐰

Excellent service for Easter brunch. The beef was too rare and chewy but the more cooked opposite end was better cooked and tender. And the noise level was high. Only two problems. Overall good experience!

The whole experience was outstanding. Wait service was attentive and excellent. Attention to detail and festively detailed presentation of desserts were perfect. Phenomenal choice of foods to appeal to all ages. Food tasted superb! We will definitely be going back again.

I just got back from our overnight girls stay with my 4 daughters and we had such an amazing time. Great hospitality from the front desk hostess to the best waitress at breakfast. Breakfast was delicious so compliments to the chef as well. We will be coming back again. The hot tub is just what I needed to relax.
