Justin my massage therapist was amazing!! Welcoming staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Would highly recommend
My wife and I set reservations earlier in the day and arrived excited to try out the fare based on a recommendation.
We were seated quickly and the service staff, although very busy on a Saturday night, were very attentive. We skipped a starter, but were treated to some of the loveliest dinner rolls we've had, paired with whipped butter and a jalapeño jam (not too spicy.)
Our cocktails were delivered quickly even with the few customizations we requested. My second cocktail had a slight mixup of the brand of gin, which I believe was due to the loudness of some of the other guests overwhelming the dining area, but was still served in a timely fashion with a smile.
Our meals were excellent, and that is no overstatement. My wife had the filet mignon, and I went for the venison chops. They were cooked exactly to order, and although the seasonal vegetable was just a medley, the medley was prepared beautifully. No flavors overstayed their welcome, and the portions were just enough to allow us a small regret at not having room for dessert.
The service was quick, attentive, and polite, even on a very busy night. The setting was lovely, and we will absolutely be back the next time we are in the area.
Pricing is perfectly reasonable for the menu options, and although not cheap, it doesn't stray into expensive for how wonderful the food and service was.

Jess was fabulous and very attentive to our needs. Donna and Justin provided wonderful massages. The Spa is beautiful, very comfortable, and has a great ambiance!
Exceptional staff! Beautiful hotel, great restaurant and amazing Spa! the professional kind, caring, down to earth staff members made it most memorable! We will be back.
Excellent menu selection. Appetizer (bourbon bacon deviled eggs), and dinners - the salmon and chicken pasta dishes were delicious! FANTASTIC service by Nicole. Will recommend and return!!
I have to say, I've never had a great experience at a hotel restaurant until tonight. The waitress was super friendly and patient. She checked-in at exactly the right times. The food was spectacular and the restaurant was quiet and lovely. The chicken wings came with a delicious blue cheese sauce that I could eat on everything! We did not leave hungry after the surf-and-turf, that's for sure. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the shrimp had an exceptional Cajun seasoning. What a wonderful night, and what a shame I can only visit once per year!!

The meat and cheese platter appetizer is the best thing i've ever had. In fact, the last time my wife and I went there. We got that as a meal.

We had chicken riggies w Chicken and the Ahi Tuna. Riggies needed a tad more sauce but were delicious. Hubs liked the ahi tuna but the rice was luke warm and undercooked. Pricey for what we got. Bread was good, hubs liked the jalapeno jam that came with it.
Bartenders were wonderful, very unique atmosphere.

Was nice, but dishes are pricey for what you get. It's not a place I'd care to go again.

Great location. Very pretty setting. We were very surprised to find no crowd. All persons working there were very attentive. Food and drinks were good. Most of our party of six had the haddock special. No complaints. Got what we paid for. There were many other “hi end” stuff on their menu. I got what I wanted and it was good food. Service And ambiance was My Highlight.
Had the prime rib. Portion was small and over priced . What do you expect for a tourist trap for wealthy people . Goto the altmar motel if you are hungry and think about being cost effective. Also no german imports or frozen drinks like Pina colada .

We had dinner and breakfast here. Always promptly greeted and seated right away. We felt great value for what we had. We split the 30/30 porterhouse which is enough for 2 to share. A little tough but overall everything else was well prepared. Only knockoff I would give on stars is the lighting in the dining room needs to be softened. Very sterile and laboratory feeling with the cold blue lights. Service was attentive and very genuine and sweet.

After a long work week, the Tailwater was a wonderful way to start the weekend. The drinks were spectacular, food was delicious, and our server was top notch! Thanks for a wonderful evening.
(couples massage) The experience was perfect from our greeting and tour with the hostess, couples massage with Justin and Elleora to the sauna and hot tub. Both masseuses were very accommodating and made us feel comfortable. We will definitely be back!
