Our waitress Kim was great and the ambience was nice and what I would expect from a northern NY lodge/hotel on the Salmon River. The steak and venison were both cooked perfectly; everything was delicious, including our cocktails.
We decided to drive 33 miles to this restaurant, on someone's referral. It was my 76th birthday. When we arrived everything seemed very nice. It is definitely lodge like, which was fine. Our service girl came to our table, and said hello, and was this a special occasion. My Husband said, well yes, it is her birthday.
