Amazing South Indian food at very reasonable cost. The food was very authentic. I really wish I would've visited this place more during out stay at Buffalo.

Had food at this restaurant a number of times and it never disappointed. Love their banana leaf thali where every dish hits the spot.

This is unlike your typical South Indian restaurants in the US. Forget sambar dosa, you need to come here for their non-veg thalis on the weekends. They serve you a banana leaf for a plate and then food keeps arriving to your table till you are stuffed fatter than a Thanksgiving Turkey…..in a great way!

I rarely give out 5 stars but Amma’s Kitchen deserves all of them. Outstanding Southern Indian food, expansive menu, super nice staff. My chicken curry paratha was exceptional, super spicy, the parathas crispy & made to order. Julie’s veg plate also terrific with yummy corn fritters. Shared an idly plate with tasty coconut, sambar & spicy peanut chutneys. Def coming back for a banana leafy thali plate for brunch. Great job! Happy/full customers.

If you want to get an authentic south indian food this is your place. Stopped here for a breakfast and tasted almost all their breakfast items. Everything tasted fresh and tasty. Will definitely repeat. Seeing the picture of our late cm Amma in the restaurant felt good and reminded home.

Food is ok but serving is too bad they serve item that will be served at your end of meal or they don’t even care even if you ask 10 times. But they take tip 15% + graduty.

I ask an item amlet for son as he is not able to eat chiken but they did not serve and my son wash his had as there is no use of waiting for food.

The only place that serves amazing & authentic South Indian food in this cute little town. More than food, we liked their hospitality. They’re very polite and respectful towards their customers. We visited this place almost everyday during our one week stay in Buffalo. Their weekend special Banana leaf thaali seemed a bit overrated & pricey for the items served. Other than that, the rest of the menu is a must try. Bon Appétit… 😬
