Terrible experience last night. Food was awful and cold. After a 40 min wait, appetizers finally arrived with each dinner item. French fries were ice cold and it was clear our food had been sitting out in the kitchen. Food was so bad that we declined boxes to take leftovers home.
Tough environment these days for restaurants struggling to find help and service, but there has to be a better effort than that. Will most likely be my family and I’s last visit to an Anchor Bar.

Came here for wings while in the area for my son's hockey tournament. We had a very large party. (About 15 kids and another 15 or so parents) Service was phenomenal. Our waitress and the staff were very accommodating and took very good care of us during our visit. Food was very good as well. I went with the wings and weck combo as well as fried pickles. This was my first time having fried pickle spears. I'm used to the chip style. They were by far the best I've ever had. Very good flavor and the breading was nice and crisp. Wings and weck were very delicious as well. Wings were crispy and well flavored. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
amiya was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. evrything came out so quick and she was so nice and personable with us. on top of that she made recommendations to us about food and that led us to the perfect meal!! i’ve only been here a few times and this is the only anchor bar i will ever go too!!!

Great sports bar vibes with Buffalo area team memorabilia plastered on the walls. Lots of TVs. Great varied beer selection with local representation. Wings are awesome. Lived up to expectations. Also tried roast beef sandwich and buffalo chicken soup. The sandwich was really tender and tasty. The soup was very rich with a solid wing sauce flavor. The staff is helpful and friendly.
Can’t come to Buffalo and not have anchor Pub chicken wings. The original location had already closed. So we visited the location in Amherst.
We ordered garlic Parmesan and the regular wings. Both were amazing.
Service was great. Friendly staff.

Visiting from out of town 3rd time at the anchor bar 3rd location. What a train wreck my order was. I should have just walked in the front door and handed them 50 bucks and walked out. That would have been a better experience then the dry as s mummified mess i got. Full pop for poor quality. Or maybe they just dont care when its take out. So if you pay the extra for charcoal grilled they fully cook your wings, then recook on charcoal til its black and dry. So ordering your wings like this at this location is a bad idea because they do not know how to do this properly at all. I stopped trying after 5 wings and threw it all out. Every other wing place is better then this place and cheaper. Management didnt care to hear it and was brimming with insulting additude. 75$ was my bill, we ate 15 wings, celery sticks were perfect though.

We were on our Honeymoon at Niagara falls and thought it would be fun to go to the original place for Buffalo wings.Super good! 💯
3.9 rating tells you they don’t put their customers first. Shame. Go go bar bill instead

Tonight we ordered the signature buffalo wings, honey garlic boneless chicken and a kids pizza with mozzarella & pepperoni. Amazingly the boneless chicken is delicious. The mozzarella cheese on the pizza is nice and the blue cheese sauce comes with the buffalo chicken wings are tasty, there are chunks of small blue cheese pieces inside the sauce. This place is very good for family gatherings. Love it.
