Went for a funeral brunch and food was great being buffet, staff was attentive
Attended the Aero Club dinner. The dinner was great and the servers were excellent.
Shower food was cold.
Place is okay but OWNER KEEPS ALL THE TIPS THAT ARE MEANT FOR THE SERVERS, he also lies about it to customers and says the servers receive their tips. Disgusting and shady practice, he tries to justify by paying the servers a few more bucks an hour but they are taking a massive pay cut by doing this and the owner gladly does it because he profits on it at the guests and servers expense.
Our group fish fry was excellent. The fish was delicious. The French fries were crispy and the macaroni salad was tasty. Coffee and ice cream topped it off.
Our community had a Halloween social event at Banchetti by Rizzo's in the Grove last night and it was absolutely perfect!! The venue itself was perfect, the staff was very responsive during planning and our attendees loved the space we had. We cannot wait to come back.
I had the most perfect wedding at Banchetti's! We did food stations and everything tasted amazing! They also made the planning super easy! Mike and Kaitlyn were wonderful and helped us every step of the way!!
September 6, 2024 Grove Wedding Review:
I recently had my wedding outside in the Grove. Beautiful location, amazing food & the staff was very friendly. I had a couple issues that knocked it down from 5 stars to 3 stars however.
1. I was originally told something about minimum guests for outside in the grove on a Friday when I signed the contract. We were told we had to pay for 100 guests even if we had less. No problem as we wanted the venue. Fast forward almost a year, I came to pay and I did not meet the minimum guest however I kept telling the staff I would still pay the amount for the minimum amount of guests as that was what was discussed a year prior. The woman I met with (I will not use names) reassured me about 10x that I could just pay for the amount of Guests I had, that they did not have a minimum anymore. I asked her if she was sure and she stated “absolutely!” I payed off the wedding venue with my 91 guests when the minimum was originally 100. 5 days before the wedding I received a call stating that she “made a mistake” and I had to pay for those extra 9 guests. I did without a problem, but it’s very frustrating when I offered a bunch of times a week before the wedding to pay that total when I was told I didn’t have to. I had spent that money on something else after being told multiple times I was all set.
2. They were short staffed that day, which I absolutely get. My wedding was not 100% set up
However. I asked if I could have people set up, and they seemed annoyed I had friends help do it. When guests arrived my table seatings were not placed correctly & favors were in the wrong spots as well. I understand being short staffed, but don’t give my family and friends attitude when they are just trying to help.
3. Multiple people requested the fans be turned up, and it was not once addressed. Staff said “ok” and someone actually ended up turning them off completely.
4. It rained, and they had to move the ceremony under the tent. It was beautiful, but the groom, the brides mother and father all requested more chairs be set up for all of the guests to sit during the ceremony. There were a total 85 guests, but they only set up 25 chairs. When guests asked where to sit, they said “just sit at your table.”
That may be their policy, but putting so much money into it, and providing help - I expect it to go my way.
Again. Beautiful venue and the wedding was amazing but for the price, I feel things could have been better, staff could have been friendlier and things should be the way the bride & groom Wanted it.
This place is unbelievably inconsiderate and its "music" on Wednesdays is a blight on the entire neighborhood. I had hoped all this terrible, off-key screaming would stop AT LEAST when school began- but no.
PLEASE MAKE IT STOP.
The buffet on May 12th Sunday for Mothers Day is very terrible and too expensive. It tasted like hotel with free breakfast. We haven been waiting for the REFUND cuz we aren’t satisfied with the buffet. My husband did call and left answer machine. Whoa!!!

went baroque dining with the organization and found out that food was not great, multiple glasses were stained and some glasses even had leftover lipstick.
Terrible Mothers Day brunch! 36.95pp add in soda and one unlimited mimosa plus the outrageous automatic 20percent gratuity that is stated nowhere ended up being $50pp. We paid roughly a $34 gratuity and let me tell you the service was terrible! I literally had to hunt down a server to get our first round of drinks…and then had to find server again for a second…we were in the rose room and it was not full…so I don’t understand the outrageous line at all times in the lobby.Add to that I heard a server from my room in the bathroom complaining about her job and whoever she was working with on the phone. Stating she’s a server and not a busser…her job is to serve not take away plates. EXCUSE me?? What was being served? It wasn’t drinks to my table…for $34 tip per table of 4 the service should’ve been impeccable…I served brunch for many years and this was an embarrassment. Pancakes were rock hard and the food was hardly refreshed and lukewarm…my son hunted for chocolate covered strawberries he saw when we walked in never to see them again. I will never be back. If you need someone in charge of brunch call me I could whip it into shape
A very disappointing Mother’s Day dinner. $40 plus gratuity per person paid up front should have been our first red flag.Cold food, empty trays. A “carving station” of pre-sliced meats. “Bourbon chicken” which was more like an odd breaded chicken (if there was any in the tray). “Stuffed porkloin” was not stuffed with anything - just slices of pork. Rolls and butter were brought out half way through dinner. Hard meatballs. Undercooked “potatoes au gratin.” “Deluxe dessert station” left much to be desired…chocolate covered strawberries that were gone before we finished dinner. The rest of the desserts were not good.Mediocre service. Our waiter didn’t check on our food. Planning seemed incredibly disorganized. Manager/supervisor made excuses for there not being enough dessert and poor food.Would absolutely NOT recommend - an apology should be issued.
Worst Mother’s Day brunch I have ever been to. Expensive, bad & cold food, empty trays, cold watery coffee, nonexistent service, fake syrup in packets. This wouldn’t be acceptable for $20 a head let alone the close to $40 they charged upfront (if we hadn’t paid upfront, we would have left and it seems like they realized that). Banchetti’s should apologize for this disaster to everyone who attended and refund their money.
Mothers Day brunch was a disaster. They were completely overbooked and understaffed. They could not keep up with refilling the food or juice dispenser(You were to get your own drinks). Most of the serving trays stayed empty and the man working the carving station kept saying that the food was coming soon. They added a 20% tip when we paid BEFORE eating but a server was nonexistent. Dirty dishes remained on the table. What an expensive disappointment.
