Wow, first time there and I loved it. Food was outstanding. Service could not have been better. I spoke to the owner Laura, what a lovely, special lady. The only thing I regret is not going there sooner as this is a neighborhood restaurant that I have been missing out of. I promise I will be back soon with family and friends. ��

I have been here many times and every time it was an excellent experience. It is without doubt the best German dining experience outside of Germany! Every dish I have tried has been delicious. I only have one small complaint, I am usually so stuffed by the very generous portions that I don't have room for the outstanding dessert options. If you love German food or just want the most authentic experience this side of the Atlantic, stop in and give the Black Forest Adler a try. You will be very glad you did!

It was my first time eating here and we had Maureen as our waitress. I suggest you request her as your waitress as she was very friendly and made sure we were happy with our meals. I had the chicken cordon bleu and it was delicious. You can tell everything is made fresh! If you haven't gone there yet i suggest you give them a try! Thanks again Maureen � and tge rest of the staff for a great dinner.

Authentic German food. Homemade coleslaw and salad dressing. Superior quality meals, excellent service. Downside: no vegan entree, but potato pancakes are an excellent substitute.

I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed with the food and service. The sausage sample was amazing and so was the Goulash! They are definitely generous with the portions! The potato pancakes were awesome and beer and wine selection was on point. The Gruner is a must for any white wine lovers.
The BEST authentic German experience you will have, from the food to the music to the decor! If you're lucky enough you'll get to meet the chef/owner for the full experience. This is the first place my fiancé took me out to dinner. Now it's our go to for any special occasion/celebration we have :)

Food was great! Got the goulash, very good! No draft beer but good bottle selection that is reasonably priced. Service was great! Believe our server was the chef's wife and co-owner.
