For the love of god train your workers better. I have never waited so long for my pizza in my life. They kept messing up a lot of peoples orders, losing them and having to remake it

I have not eaten here in quite some time and I cannot state how the conditions of the restaurant were inside because I ordered ahead and someone else went in to get it. The food is usually good and the employees do the best they can to service you in a timely manner.

It’s 9.29 pm we went in to order some pizza, as soon as we go in the light skin worker goes we are close as soon as we walk in and the worker in the back start laughing and as we walk out. Then two old couple goes in and they start taking their order!! Terrible service, disgusting workers. NEVER HAD BLAZE BEFORE AND NEVER WILL !!!

Disgusting and filthy floor. Staff was disrespectful. Misleading menu… posted price 10.49 charged for 10.99. No manager. Staff unfriendly and cannot resolve problems. Slow and inefficient. Mediocre pizza at best. Creates the illusion of create your own pizza but only if you pay 12.99 otherwise only 1 or 2 toppings.

Today at 9.40 pm . Got turned away with people in line. Closing time is 10 pm. Very unprofessional by the Indian girl with the bad attitude. . U definitely lost a long time customer. Plus the inside of the store is filthy

The restaurant is disgustingly filthy inside the seating area and behind the counter where food preparation is done. The employees were using completely soiled utensils on freshly cooked pizza. Additionally they were cashing people out and directly going and handling food after. Without gloves, or washing hands in between. Mainly standing around on their phones, again without gloves and without washing hands before dealing with food.

Garbages were way overflowing

It took roughly a half hour for them to cook a plain cheese pizza.

I used to love coming here. I don’t know what happened, but I can tell the change in employees has definitely had an effect on the restaurant.

The owner needs to step up and replace lazy workers and hire quality people to take care of this store. Your potential is only as good as you put into it. Put nothing in, get nothing out.

I’m not someone who usually complains, but I believe in giving a fair and accurate review based on my experience. Blaze Pizza has always been one of my go-to spots in the Amherst area. This was my first visit since the location was purchased last year by Neil Deshmukh, and the changes were hard to ignore — and not in a good way.

The overall cleanliness of the restaurant has taken a serious hit, and the lack of staffing was immediately noticeable. If you look at the photos I provided, the glass over the ingredient area is covered in streaks and buildup to the point where you can barely see the food behind it. It’s disappointing to see a place that used to be a favorite decline like this, and I hope management steps up and addresses these issues quickly.

If you take a close look at the photos I posted, the cleanliness issues are impossible to ignore. Seeing the condition of the restaurant honestly makes you question how clean and sanitized the food storage areas are and how the ingredients are being handled behind the counter. The drink station isn’t anywhere near basic sanitation standards, and they’re storing open, unsealed disposable forks, spoons, and knives — which raises even more concerns about whether those utensils are actually clean.

The floor corners are full of grime and buildup, and the amount of pizza sauce smeared across the counters, the glass, and even the cookie display cover is flat-out unacceptable. This place has gone downhill fast, and the lack of cleanliness is a major red flag that needs immediate attention.

Mr. Deshmukh, I strongly recommend hiring additional staff to get the cleanliness and sanitation of this location back under control. This restaurant used to be fully staffed, efficient, and well-run. On my most recent visit, there were only four customers in the entire place, yet all of us waited over 20 minutes after ordering to receive our food.

I spoke with the employees working that day, and they all said the same things: they’re understaffed, underpaid, given too few hours, and feel there’s a lack of strong leadership on site. That alone explains a lot of what customers are seeing.

In the past, this location always had team members cleaning, rotating ingredients, stocking customer-facing areas, and keeping things moving. That standard is gone, and the difference is obvious.

Mr. Deshmukh, this visit was extremely disappointing. I truly hope you turn things around before this place goes any further downhill, and I sincerely wish you success as you work to get this business back on track.

At the Amherst NY location, a girl who identified herself as a manager was so rude and insulting I left my order at the register and walked out. What a poor example to her staff (assuming she is a mgr.) for customer service. I wasn't the only one in the line complaining about her. I have to leave a star otherwise, I would give none.
