Insomnia Cookies

My daughter asked twice for a gluten free cookie and was not given a gluten free cookie , and when the incompetent employee heard her talking while eating the cookie said “wait that’s not gluten free , are you gonna die now”

Since then …

She’s missed work twice and missed an endocrinologist appointment which we had to pay a cancellation fee because it wasn’t 24-hour notice. Also had to buy a bunch of supplements to help digest all of this quickly if that is even possible, and when you have Celiac it can take weeks or even months to feel right again. All the progress she has made over the last couple of years was destroyed by an incompetent employee, As of Monday, her throat to the gut has been on fire since Friday. Constantly in the bathroom sick.

A week later still has same issues going on and barely an appetite.

I would’ve given zero stars !!

The cashier, a girl with tattoos, was extremely rude and unprofessional. The desserts were overly chocolatey and excessively sweet. They no longer offer fruity ice cream flavors like the strawberry one they had last year. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Not recommended.

Staff said they are only aloud to make 2 cookies in each flavour. When sold they can make more.

Ummm closed.... so insomnia ? I think not.

TL;DR ---Little Caesars but in cookie form.

Tiny spot with a very limited space. A simple counter and 2 maybe 3 chairs. You are expected to take and go.

The cookies themselves are ok. Exactly on point with their competitor. Kinda pricey but the main advantage of this place is the hours. Convenient for a late night fix.

The staff is just like any other staff, not thrilled about their job but not rude either. I don't hold anything against them for this. Very no frills but it's putting cookies in a box. Shouldn't be overly exciting anyway.

The baking is done in the back and from what I've been told it's a lot of just premixed shipped in from corporate fare. Keeps the product uniform but also keeps the product soulless.

The atmosphere is what is really lacking. It's very minimalist modern. The results of many corporate study groups of the bare minimum effort to get people in the door. Very bright led lighting, simple plain surfaces and boring fonts.

As stated above, it's the little Caesars model but for cookies.

Local bakerys are better but this works in a pinch

They got rid of their best cookie the Reese's peanut butter cookie. Not worth it at all for their remaining subpar selection.

I’ll start by stating the obvious; these are not cheap cookies so if you’re looking for a bargain, keep on looking. Having said that, they have theeee best oatmeal raisin cookies I’ve had in a very long time. And honestly I’m not even a huge fan of oatmeal raisin, but they’re huge, warm, and delicious. I’ve also tried other flavors: chocolate chip (not a fan), M&M (not a fan), Snickerdoodle (pretty good), and sugar (they’re just okay). When you’re looking for that late night dopamine fix, Insomnia is your best bet.

Cookielicious delight! These warm cookies are wayyy better than your grandma’s! They’re big, the perfect kinda doughy and they’ll melt even before reaching your mouth! The best part you can get them delivered and there are party tray options too! And if you like cookie ice cream sandwiches customized to your liking they’ve got that too!
