I have been to LaCatena numerous times and the food has always been very good. I brought a friend who had never been there before and I raved about the food and service. Unfortunately the service is not what it used to be and this time it was downright horrible - from mixing up our drink order to slow service to forgetting about us after dropping off the bill.

My Branzino Catena was delicious as were all of the other appetizers and main courses selected by our friends. Our friends had never dined here before and thanked us as they were quite pleased and vowed to return!

The journey from Virginia was more than worth it for my GodMother's 75th birthday celebration at La Catena in Ardsley, New York. From the moment we walked in, Jeff and his incredible staff made us feel like family, surrounded by an ambiance that is both warm and elegant. Our dinner was a tour de force of classic Italian flavors, with every dish impressing our large party. What truly elevated our experience from simply great to absolutely stellar was the superb customer service . The staff at La Catena treated our large party with the kind of care and attention you would expect for a family celebrating a momentous occasion. The waiters were professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring my GodMother had a wonderful birthday. Thank you to Jeff and the wonderful staff at La Catena. We will be back!

I can't say anything bad about them because they were closing up but I brought my uncle in on the way home from the hospital and they agreed to make us a couple of heroes which were great. Fat veal parm. 10 out of 10.

Have lived in the area for decades and this was first visit to La Catena. It will not be the last. The service was exceptional and the food excellent. The Caesar Salad prepared table side was as good as I've ever had and every dish thereafter met the same standard. Definitely a winner.

We made a reservation about 1 hour before arrival. We were pleasantly greeted. As soon as we sat down and they gave us the menus they asked for a drink order. I did not even have my jacket off and they were asking for drinks. I felt rushed. They had plenty of open tables during the evening, so they did not need our table. Both my wife and I ordered the Mista salad, ordered with dressing on the side, the dressing was quite good, so was the bread brought to the table with the olive oil. My wife had the filet of sole and I had the salmon, they were both quite good and seasoned well, not overdone. I had a beer with the meal and felt rushed because they came over a few times to pour into my glass which was not empty each time. Overall, we would go back but don't appreciate being rushed. My wife and I consider Friday night dinner to be “date night” and don't want to be rushed and want to catch up from the week.
