I can't say anything bad about them because they were closing up but I brought my uncle in on the way home from the hospital and they agreed to make us a couple of heroes which were great. Fat veal parm. 10 out of 10.

Have lived in the area for decades and this was first visit to La Catena. It will not be the last. The service was exceptional and the food excellent. The Caesar Salad prepared table side was as good as I've ever had and every dish thereafter met the same standard. Definitely a winner.

We made a reservation about 1 hour before arrival. We were pleasantly greeted. As soon as we sat down and they gave us the menus they asked for a drink order. I did not even have my jacket off and they were asking for drinks. I felt rushed. They had plenty of open tables during the evening, so they did not need our table. Both my wife and I ordered the Mista salad, ordered with dressing on the side, the dressing was quite good, so was the bread brought to the table with the olive oil. My wife had the filet of sole and I had the salmon, they were both quite good and seasoned well, not overdone. I had a beer with the meal and felt rushed because they came over a few times to pour into my glass which was not empty each time. Overall, we would go back but don't appreciate being rushed. My wife and I consider Friday night dinner to be “date night” and don't want to be rushed and want to catch up from the week.

Did takeout. Very friendly servers. Chicken scarpiello and ziti with vodka sauce were both very good. Suggest they add more pasta choices to their menu. All in all, worth a visit!

I can not say enough about the staff and food at this wonderful restaurant. It was to die for truly . I had for a appetizer the Pappardelle Laila Rita Di Formaggio, they actually come to the table and cook it in the block of Reggiano cheese wow. For the main course I had their lovely pork chop with sweet and hot peppers( like butter) Jeff and the staff were so lovely. I want to go back every night. I felt so at home., I live in Myrtle Beach I want to bring this restaurant home with me. I wish it was in South Carolina. I will be back every time I’m in New York for sure. A must to go to. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would give them a thousand all across the board. Thank you Jeff
