This was our first visit to Saw Mill Tavern. Right away we were pleased with the Rock and Roll music. Ambience was nice. The waitress was attentive and very pleasant. Draft beer choices were good. But the food, oh my. The menu was extensive and included daily specials. We chose Tacos al pastor and Chicken enchiladas, and one was worse than the other. Even the black beans were insipid. Enchiladas were void of melted cheese and sauce. Tortillas were soggy and filled with tasteless shredded chicken. Tacos had filling of unseasoned pork cubes and canned pineapple. Unless the cook had failed to show up for work there really is no excuse for food of this caliber.

Went to meet a friend and her parents - had great food, the best waitress Irene, and music bingo. Our waitress made us want to come back. So friendly!
I always thought that it was a burger and fries. Tonight it was a burger then fries!! Tonight was not their finest even though they have a great burger. It seems our sever was more interested in socializing with the football crowd than paying attention to what was needed. Took a long time to get our order and maybe that was the reason for the fries being lukewarm. Given all of that, we'll be back just not sure when. It is one our go to places, so a bit disappointed.

What a great date-night destination! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and atmosphere had that nice home-town tavern appeal! Try the jalapeño poppers, they will not disappoint!Parking: Large, free parking lot right outside the front door.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp at curb and no stairs to enter establishment. Plenty of table seating with easy access.

This place may look like a sports bar inside an Ardsley Strip Mall, but do not be deceived. It’s a reasonably priced neighborhood tavern where the fish & chips, French onion soup, mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes are better than we deserve. Our waitress, Mo, could not have been more personable and efficient. Our coffee and tea came with free refills and warm honey.
