Over priced...and you can't take soft drink home with you...no to-go cups...for the prices my expectations were higher...

Food is good, but this was the second time we went there for dinner, sat at the bar, only 1 other customer and the girl behind the bar barely acknowledged us. A waitress getting her own drinks came over to help us.

I am posting this in reference to 21 Burger in Poughkeepsie on Rt44!
We enjoy going and having dinner there, the food is amazing however that being said they aren’t child friendly!

They have no milk for children and don’t allow any outside food into the resturant even if it’s for children with a special diet as we were told when we sat down with our four year old grand-nephew and were told no outside food was allowed in the resturant!
Maybe they thought his mom was going to eat the food, I don’t know but the manager came over in front of everyone to tell us the food wasn’t allowed ! Instead of standing back and watching to see the situation.

Also… Be advised there isn’t a child menu!

When I called and mentioned it to the manager she said you should have called first and said you were bringing the child’s food and he had allergies. I said well I’m sorry but you don’t have anything on the website saying we should call or anything on the menu to tell us before she started feeding him.
I’m very disappointed and actually his parents were more surprised because anywhere they dine with him they have never been told they werent allowed to bring food for their child that has special dietary needs.

When I called to express my disappointment I was really only calling to provide feedback because we really enjoy going to dine there before this embarrassing experience and thought they would appreciate the feedback but instead i was asked in a rude way “what would you like me to do about it? This is our policy”

Needless to say, I am very dissapointed in the experience and even more dissapointed in the lack of understanding and compassion from management after the fact…

Overpriced and undercooked burgers. Both my and dad’s burgers were undercooked. I asked for medium and was given raw ground beef. $22 for a burger with fries. Half of ketchup bottles were empty. Service was good though everyone was nice. Will not be returning.

This is a good place. However the food is a bit expensive. It's not over the top expensive but definitely elevated. Burger was good. Fries were on the smaller portion size. They also charge extra for curly fries. It's totally not worth it. IMO, fries should be way bigger than what you actually get. Otherwise, the place is around a 7.5/10.

Burgers are always fresh and cooked to perfection. We come here often and can't complain. I always go with the curly fries as a substitute for regular fries. Check out the outdoor patio.

As both a business owner and a member of the community, I feel obligated to speak up about my experience. My visit to this establishment was not only disappointing—it was disturbing. The food was okay standard, but the real issue was the owner's behavior. A minor concern turned into a major ordeal due to her aggressive and unprofessional response. Shockingly, she went so far as to threaten me and attempted to gaslight the situation, twisting facts and refusing accountability. Even more concerning, the owner blatantly broke several laws during our interaction, which I am currently reviewing further. No customer should ever be subjected to such treatment, and no employee should have to work under that kind of leadership. This is not just bad business—it’s dangerous. I strongly advise others to stay away from this place.

- I love this burger joint. Like they fr came up with 21 perfect burger and wing flavors. I would kiss the chef if I could. I've only tried 10/21 but I'm on my way 🫡🫡. The meat quality is amazing and every time I repeat a burger it is always just as good as the first time. Been goin there for years now and honestly it's in my top 5 burger joints. Not that my ooonion on this really counts but I lived in NYC and Texas and honestly their consistent and flavor combos are fun fresh and high quality I also got a really good sour today

Best smashburger and hot honey wings ever. Great young staffers, so there is a good energy and great food. Best Father's Day meal to date.
