Meyer's Olde Dutch Poughkeepsie

I came here for lunch after the Ingress First Saturday event on November 2nd. I ordered their buffalo wings and a chili burger with cheese.

The wings were perfectly cooked and the buffalo sauce had a nice bite in without being overly hot, while the burger had a nice sweet-hot chili (and was served with coleslaw *under the patty* - an unusual twist, but by no means unpleasant). The fries that came with the burger were excellent, too, with a light touch of seasoning to them.

My only quibble is that the blue cheese sauce that was served with the wings seemed a little on the bland side compared to the rest of the food.

Overall, though, the food was excellent, as was the service - all well worth every penny I spent. I would definitely return here given the chance!

I ordered take out. I got a Veggie patty they added thousand island sauce on my burger and I didn’t ask for that (it was not good sauce). The bun is ok. I Wish there were options for different buns. A toasted ciabatta bun would make it better!!!! The veggie patty itself tastes great.
I also ordered sweet potatoes fries with extra honey mustard. I did not get any honey mustard, but instead got extra, what seemed to be mayo aioli (it tastes terrible in my opinion). The sweet potato fries were wedges and tasted literally like I was biting into a potato. It was terrible and soft. I will never get the sweet potato fries here again… and sweet potato fries are normally my go to.
I would prefer thin crispy sweet potato fries. I think they should be served with honey mustard automatically.

I was really hungry today and quite bummed about how my food ended up coming out so I wanted to wright a review about it.

With that being said I have been here two other times and got the Meyer’s salad both times which is delicious! If I do come back it will only be for that salad.

I love MOD in Beacon, and - dare I say - this location might even be better?? I ordered the NY State Special burger and fries - it’s seriously one of the best burgers in the area in my opinion, and I’m not even the hugest burger person. Reasonable prices, very clean with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Good service, friendly staff! They have a parking lot, but also has street parking. Their garlic aioli and fry sauce are great! Will be back for sure

Great food and vegetarian options. The chicken tenders were crispy. The veggie Dutch is amazing and I love that you can customize the burgers. Great atmosphere and excellent employees.

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. I'd say it was the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had hands down. If they're burgers are anything like the chicken they're going to be around for a while. Everything was great.

American cheese should always be an option on a burger. Cheddar breaks, and gets oily when it melts. Potato roll and American cheese. That makes a burger..

Wanted to love the place because we like the location and the outdoor seating. But the outdoor seating area had food on the ground and was dirty. And the food itself was mediocre. It was nothing special that I would go back for. The staff was very friendly and helpful though.

We had burgers, chicken sandwich and fries. All were delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely go again.

Best burger you’ll ever have. Kitchen is crazy clean, you can see through the pickup window. Bartenders are not only great at mixing drinks but super friendly as well. Great spot for lunch, dinner or just a good hang.

My family would drive all the way to Beacon for these burgers. This new location is spacious and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive, answering all our questions. The food was amazing - some of the best burgers we've had. The char on them, plus the seasoning and toppings is unbelievable. I personally love their pickled onions while the rest of my party loved the pickles and pickled jalapenos. The fries were a generous portion and were the perfect thickness. We can't wait to come back, and plan on making this our go-to burger place in Poughkeepsie.

Wheelchair accessibility: There was handicapped parking available right next to the entrance and a ramp to the front door.
