Boardwalk Bagels & Deli is a true Destination-Place in the East-Coast of the USA. i've driven there twice from satanic northern-Virginia: once in a Subaru-wagon & once in a Volvo turbo-wagon, in order to just simply eat their Excellent-Food and to delight in their truly-Wonderful atmosphere. The "competition" can NOT hang with this place. The New & Much-Improved KGB (Kosher Giant Bagel) in Lawrence, NY is just as good as this place, but a little different from them. Different is NOT deficient; it is just simply Different.Queens, NY would be truly-AWFUL without these two True Destination-Places on the map of the East-Coast of the USA. This is the simple-truth ladies and gentleman.
With the closing of the great stuff n bagel in oceanside, need a good bagel. They make them pretty good here, nice size and taste.I'll continue to buy.

The bagels and the staff are the best things here!The cream cheese is not as consistent as their rivals at beach bagel.The whole ordering system is pure chaos.The parking is just as bad and I feel for the nearby residents

TOP NOTCH PERFECT!!! I made a catered order for 35 guests including bagels, spreads, muffins and fresh fruit. EVERYTHING was excellent! Delivered on time and plentiful!

I rarely write bad reviews, but feel the need to after an unpleasant experience here. Have stopped in several times over the years in the morning on my way to the Atlantic Beach bridge. To be honest, never got a warm feeling or greeting as they seem to reserve it for the regulars. Well, yesterday morning around 8am I came in for a cup of coffee. It was moderately busy and I waited my turn by the register. There were several people behind the counter preparing orders. After a few minutes when the person by the register was free,I politely asked for a large cup of coffee. She barely acknowledged this and I stepped aside to let the next person order. Her demeanor said "I don't want to be here" loud and clear. A man came in who obviously is a regular, picked up a newspaper and then walked up to the counter and ordered breakfast. The staff behind the counter then proceeded to prepare his order. I waited a couple of minutes and said "I'm waiting for a cup of coffee." The same person who I originally gave my order to looked at me and walked over to the coffee machine, at which time she told another employee I was waiting for coffee. Another employee saw this and gave me the coffee, apologizing for the unprofessional and rude service of her fellow staff member. When a person walks into an establishment, they should feel welcome and that their patronage is important. It does not matter if you are ordering a cup of coffee or an entire meal. I will never walk into this place again for coffee or anything else.

No napkin as you drive away and yes you greet some people you know but how hard is is to be nice at the counter
