We went there over the weekend and the food was excellent. I was shocked this kind of restaurant existed so close to Long Beach. The halibut was super fresh and the green beans that came w the fish was prepared fantastically. Good job Gio's! We will be back!

Love this place. It is a cozy place and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. I have been there many times and the food is consistently top notch. We got there at 6 pm so it wasn't too crowded but by 7 the place was filled up and it was a Tuesday night. For first timers I always suggest the Eggplant Tower and Grilled Caesar Salad appetizers, delicious!

The food here lives up to expectations, and the service is just as amazing. My favorite dish was the Bolognese, calamari and burrata, which was fresh and delicious as well as a very generous portion. Everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

One of the best restaurants on Long Island! Started with an amazing bulleit old fashioned. Which was made correctly! Fried burrata in vodka sauce was delicious. My favorite chicken pazza never disappoints and my friend got the veal valdostana which was to die for. This place is must visit. And as always fantastic service. Kudos to our server Adam who was awesome.

Service was terrible ! We weren't told the specials and when we asked why we were told by the Waite I thought u just wanted to order . Then when I asked for the check I was charged twice for the martinis , which I already had paid for at the bar when we were waiting for the table to be ready . And there response was no you didn't! When I showed them the receipt that I paid they said they were sorry We won't be back . The manager reached out to us and apologized for the service we had received! I was very impressed with how they did handle the situation after the fact and it had me rethinking that they really did care and rectified it ! Therefore I will give them another chance

Food is the best of the best. Little loud if you have someone that doesn't hear well I would recommend a high top the table is a little away from the center of the noise.
