I have been to Gio's like 5 times now. For so long, I wanted to find a high quality, high end Italian place in my local area... with no luck. Until now! All the Italian places on Long Island are basically the same - some not bad but they are all boring and sometimes really lack in quality unfortunately. But Gio's is different - a large step above the rest. Gio's strikes me as a spot you'd find in Brooklyn or Manhattan - it's very cosmopolitan and chic, and the food is out of this world. Very high quality, fresh ingredients are used, and the food preparation is always on point. This place deserves it's flowers. I will now be a regular at Gio's! Some of my favorite dishes are: stuffed mushrooms, veal or sole margherita, chicken francese, and the absolute best - their homemade pasta (paccheri). They have many different preparations of pasta, I like amatriciana or broccoli rabe w sausage. But whatever way you like your pasta, you NEED to try their homemade paccheri. Probably one of the best pastas I ever had. Perfectly chewy and firm, al dente. Perfect texture. Fresh taste. Unreal preparation. Get to Gio's ASAP!
The food was delicious and the service was exceptional!! The staff at Gio's are lovely and kind!
My stepsons treated their Dad and I for Father’s Day at Gio’s. Staff are welcoming, attentive and thankful😊.
My husband and younger stepson enjoyed their chicken parmigiana. My older stepson liked his perfectly prepared steak. I liked their calamari with non-spicy sauce. They gave me a separate spicy sauce.
Their complimentary bread was warm.
All food served was fresh.
Excellent service, fabulous food, amazing cocktails! We love Gio, Adam, Jaime, Matthew, Brittany, both Dinas, and the bus staff!
Waited over an hour after our reservation. Food and especially drinks are extremely overpriced, and our cocktails were poorly made and had to be fixed.
Exemplary service great atmosphere.
Always great service & delicious food ! Staff is so accommodating and will work with allergies, etc.
Very good food there was a weird odor in the restaurant most likely a plumbing problem. Staff was great was was delicious
I sat down around 6:30 with a reservation, we ordered appetizers 15 minutes after sitting. We ordered main dishes and appetizers together at the same time. It took 50 minutes from the appetizers to roll out. The waitress then placed our food on the table after waiting an hour. This other waiter quickly tried grabbing our food to bring it to a different table. We had one appetizer to pick on while waiting another 30 for the next ones to roll out. Appetizers were fine... main dishes came out. Tasteless, horrible, cold, and straight up gross. 5 tables came in 40 minutes after us and left before us. The waitress didn't come over to ask how it was, didn't apologize, nothing. She just handed over a glass of wine as an apology. We were eating and some bus boy came up to us trying to take our plates away which was another disaster. Whole dinner took about 3 hours. We are members at a beach club around the block and we will be passing on this restaurant and tell all of our friends to pass. Was so good last summer. Went downhill
Delicious food. Service was great.

Lovely hostess and great service with a warm welcome. Food was so so. Zucchini fries were good.
Sunday sauce was excellent with the meats displayed perfectly over pasta. Matt made a fabulous 1946 drink!
Gio is the best
Aoutentic real good food
GIO's Italian Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food was authentic and delicious with a northern Italian flair, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. What truly made the experience exceptional was the outstanding service from Adam—attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. He made our evening feel special from start to finish. Highly recommend—5 stars all the way! Best, The Foxes
