Gio's has become one of my favorite restaurants to dine. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is truly the best, so friendly and accommodating. My husband and I have dined here 3 times (twice bringing friends). We look forward to bringing more people with us that haven't experienced it yet. My go to dish is the Veal Sorrentino, I can't get enough of it. It really is “the best in the city”. Last night we also had the Bolognese, it was perfect and the stuffed artichoke. Sop up the sauce with their delicious bread. Great cocktails and wine too. Everything we had has been amazing and flavorful. Kudos to Deena (hope I spelled correctly). She's a gem!!

Just wanted to take a minute to write a review for my first experience with Gio's. I was in search of a restaurant that would accommodate a large reservation (20-25 people) and was having trouble finding a place. My friend recommended Gios. From the minute I called they were so incredibly kind and accommodating. They followed up with confirmations consistently which, as a mom, was much appreciated. When we arrived the staff was wonderful. I had mistakenly counted my final headcount and they were so willing to help me I was extremely appreciative. They put us all at one table! The server (I cannot remember his name, he had glasses) was on top of it! He was fantastic. As a former waitress myself, i know how difficult a large party can be. He always made sure everyone had a drink and every order was timely and correct. We were so impressed. I want to thank everyone in the kitchen who took on such a large party ordering full menu!!! The food was amazing and everyone was complimenting the restaurant choice. We will definitely be back to Gio's! Thank you so much ?

The food is NOT what it used to be! The service people on the weekend are inundated and bewildered! Takeout or delivery via UberEats is even worse!! Food arrives soggy, drowned in oil and cold! Don’t eat here - head over to Baldoria in Long Beach - wonderful place!

We celebrated a friend's birthday at Gio's and couldn't ask for a better experience. It was our first time there, I've been wanting to try for a long time. From the moment we arrived we were treated graciously by Anna. The ambiance is quaint and inviting with a beautiful bar. Speaking of the bar the cocktails were exceptional with many great choices. As for their menu, talk about choices, so many great options including specials. We had an octopus appetizer special. The octopus was cooked perfectly, tender and delicious. We had the linguine with seafood in a white sauce (red was also an option) It had lobster tails, shrimp, calamari and mussels. Very large portion that was delicious. We had the veal Sorrentino that's on their regular menu. It truly was one of the best veal dishes I ever had, the best in the city. Also had the broccoli rabe that was so good. For desserts we had 2 different tartufo's, perfect ending to a great meal. Our server Nick was nothing short of fantastic. He was friendly and so accommodating. He made our experience even better. All of the staff were wonderful. I can't wait to go back and bring more people with us. I can't stop thinking about the veal!!

Love this place! Food is delicious and service is impeccable. We always share the Angel hair with marinara. I love the chicken Marsala. I haven't ordered that in years, but here it is very special. We like the burnt string beans and cauliflower. This is now our go to restaurant when we are looking for excellent food

Our first visit to Gio's did not disappoint. Everything was phenomenal.....from the bread basket to dessert! Our server Deena was so welcoming and efficient and pleasant. We had the best baked clams and the veal Milanese with linguine pomodoro. SO delicious!!! The cappuccino was coupled with Gio's homemade biscotti....what a meal! And being the holiday season, the Christmas music was enjoyable. recommend this restaurant. Buon Natale!

This was our first time here, and had such a great experience . There were 3 of us, we had the chicken Parmesan, the chicken Marsala and the chicken Alla Pazza which were all delicious . We also shared the antipasto all Italian which was a good sized portion and very good. The service was excellent, everyone was so friendly and accommodating and the decor was a warm and beach themed. We highly recommended that you give it a try and will definitely be back.

Everything was great! We got there early for our reservation so we could sit at the bar for a pre dinner drink then sat for a delicious meal. There were four of us and all had a great dining experience.
