Fantastic chef and service, what a great dinner, full of flavor and great pairing with local wines

The portions are extremely small. Very pricey. We had to ask for extra bread since we were still hungry after eating our entree We chose ala carte since the appetizers (courses one and two ) were not appealing to us.

The food pairing menu had interesting combinations making up the dish. Each offered a variety of tastes using locally sourced ingredients The wines with each course which is something that I always appreciate. The Finger Lakes paired wines were a superb complement to the dishes, particularly that which was paired with the Hamachi Crudo.

We arrived late at 1833 after a day of driving. It was quiet in the restaurant and we chose to eat outside. The food was delicious, fresh and really well cooked and packed with flavour. Our server, Meg, was really friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time here in this peaceful, beautiful location and would definitely recommend the restaurant for an excellent dining experience. I wish we'd had time for the tasting menu which looked amazing.

1833 has a four course small plate meal with or without wine pairings. Small portions but tasty and plenty of food overall. Room was loud, but primarily because of a large table with 6 women in the middle of the dining area. Sommelier was friendly and informative. We'll definitely return for another special dinner.

Do not order the a la carte scallop “entree” unless you want to just give away your money to this restaurant. For $46 you will be served three completely average sized (and tasting) scallops on a plate with a drizzle of sauce any absolutely nothing else! Not a vegetable, grain of rice, nothing! The price they charge for this menu item is criminal. The person I dined with also ordered this, so we paid $92 for six scallops and nothing else! I cannot believe they get away with this. We discreetly brought this to the attention of the manager but she could not have cared less. We will never return.

A truly special experience. Lou is an extraordinary person and we really enjoyed getting to know her!

The 1833 at the Aurora Inn is very comfortable and pleasant. Surroundings are calming. Views of the lake and foliage are fine. The service was very good, friendly and helpful. The food was good, not outstanding in my view, but it didn't really need to be, given the surroundings, which were and are the draw. It's a very good place for a relaxing meal by the water. Anyone wanting a special dinner or lunch will find the Aurora Inn well worth the drive.

Unforgettable place. One of the most delicious meals I've had in years. Every dish was superb. Kind and attentive staff. In a beautiful spot on the lake in an adorable small town.

We had a patio table for brunch in the shade. Our server and bus person were terrific, giving us time to select our meals, but not too much time. We had 4 different meals, each enjoyed thoroughly. No complaints, just kudos for brunch.

Although a beautiful setting, the menu was very limited and it may be difficult to find a desirable option. The food is well presented but the portions quite small. Service was excellent.

This was a truly hidden gem. Did not expect 4 course meal w excellent service here in Aurora. Felt like I was in a Michelin starred restaurant and spending half of my paycheck but it's actually affordable and worth every penny. Amanda was so wonderful and we were spoiled! Highly recommended and make sure you check out the orphaned wine list!!!

Underwhelming is an understatement. $46 for sea scallops. Got 3 scallops. $42 for sirloin. Got 5 pieces. Served with Yukon Gold potatoes which were actually the home fries from breakfast. Waited well over 45 minutes for the food and it was served lukewarm at best.

Overall, a very good dining experience in Aurora. Service was outstanding and venue was very nice. My meals were well seasoned and ample in the Prefix menu, but my wife's, mushroom, beet, and pork dish were all under seasoned. It was as though they were missing one seasoning and her mushroom dish was undercooked. They were nice to change the sweetcorn risotto a la carte to an appetizer just for me for five dollars, which was a steal. It had some crunchy elements to it which were slightly excessive, but overall, my dishes, including the gazpacho, Risotto, and Asian short ribs were outstanding and the highlight of the meal actually was the desserts. Very good choice if you staying at the end in Where is Aurora

We ate outside on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake. Creative cocktail menu and they were great! Food was delicious as usual. Loved the watermelon gazpacho as our first course. Our server Kati was very attentive, friendly and kind. I love dining here!
