Appleton Estate Restaurant & Lounge

So I frequent this bar lounge often and the drink have alway been the same price, however after this Monday night September 4,2023 this was it. The bartender basically told us 2 cup of Hennessy and cranberry was $40 and then proceeded to take the money and put the change in her tip pan. I would’ve tip regardless but telling me a different price than what the establishment charges to then tip yourself is very dishonest and being a business owner myself I was very offended.

They need to have someone regularly CLEAN throughout the night. They never come to clean off the tables or bar. The floor was filthy. Management or somebody should be more attentive throughout the night.

Food is good but I have a serious problem with their menu. If you do not have the food, take it off the menu. They NEVER have plantains but u pay for it as part of the meal. So overcompensate for not having the side in another way, no?! I think so. Idk if the picture shows how much empty space is in the oxtail plate. This is their $22 large meal. Never buying the oxtail meal again.

Ordered on Grubhub. The brown stew snapper was very nicely prepared and absolutely delicious and I enjoyed the fruit cake as well. Everything I ordered was great except the roti skin which was dry.

Food is great. But for the lounging it's a younger crowd. I can't deal. So I will order my food from there the rest I can go without went to a celebration there once and it was good came back and idk ??‍♀️ maybe just wrong night. But FOOD is good!!! Order u some take out lmaoooo

I did not try the food but will soon. The service was very inviting. The bartenders were great. I enjoyed the music provided by Dj Lennox. 4 Stars right now because I did not order food. I went for the music and a drink. I'm sure the amount of stars will go up after I try some food.
