I love ice cream and eat it all year round but this carvel is disgusting dirty and way over priced and the owner is so unfriendly you walk in and the first thing you notice is the smell of rotten eggs or milk not so which 1 it is. Second thing is how dirty everything is the store looks like a warehouse things placed in every corner. I got a kids cone with vanilla and oreo cookie crumble 6.00 never in my life have i seen a price those high for a kids size cone.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I became severely ill after eating ice cream here, which should never happen. The taste was clearly off, and in hindsight, I should not have eaten it, but this points to serious issues with food safety and cleanliness. After reading other reviews, it’s obvious that many customers have also noticed the lack of sanitation at this location.
Getting sick from ice cream is unacceptable, and I’ve been bedridden for four days because of it. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend that others avoid this establishment until they address their health and safety standards.

I haven't had carvel in years and I'm use to going to the Baldwin Grand ave store. My experience was terrible recently. I tried to return my strawberry dasher because it was made by a careless teenager who forgot a topping. The manager gave me a hard time, her tone and attitude was unprofessional. It's a new manager there...I miss the sweet old lady manager. From now on, I will be going to tbe Freeport Atlantic ave store
