Patties are amazing. Light, flavorful and seasoned to perfection. But it doesn't stop there.....the freshly made bread is the show stopper. I gladly take my 20 minute drive to pick up loaves (yes loaves, more than 1) of bread. Owners are also so friendly and inviting. My favorite bakery!!

We were around this neighborhood and was actually looking for beef patties to eat in our car. Hubby saw the sign for this Jamaican place and we drove into the parking lot. When we got in, we were greeted by this very jolly Jamaican Chinese. He was so pleasant. The fridge is full of the typical island drinks. I feel that this place has more home made fruit juices(at least two different island brands)than other Jamaican places that we have been to. I got a D&G ginger beer. Hubby got a Grace drink. Around the front end of this take out restaurant, there are second hand stereos and sound equipments for sale. There is a short counter but no stools to sit. I guess one could stand to quickly eat the food if need be. We ordered the lunch specials for the day. They all came with a bottle of water. We had the curry chicken, stew chicken and jerk chicken. We got a pack of tamarind balls and bun and cheese. We love all of them. For those that like their food with a lot of "kick," this place is probably not for their taste buds. What I mean by that is that if you want your food with a lot of Scotch Bonnets, this then may not be the place for you. Or the type that wants the food smothered with chunks of salt, this is not for you either. Each Jamaican place cooks differently then the next one. You find what works for you but, please do not fault one place because the taste is not for you. People are in business to take care of their families. It is not fair to put awful reviews unless the food is as such. Thank you for the delicious food! We even forgot the grab some patties because of the great interaction with this gentleman. We will definitely be coming back and patronizing this place and we do not even live in LI. We need to try his Jamaican patties and other dishes.

Let me just start with their amazing flaky beef patties. Remind me of my years in Jamaica. So delicious! Flavorful, and juicy ?.Let’s get to the star of the show is their freshly bake bread. So soft! You can’t just eat one slice.. Whenever, my family and I are in the area we have to stop. The owner is friendly and also his staff.

Best hard dough bread in New York!! Delicious ? George bakes bread fresh everyday. Don't forget daily lunch specials. George & his wife Karen always make every customer, feel right at home. Good stuff!

I've been going here since I was a kid in the late 90s, and the food is still amazing! Their stewed chicken and porgi are absolutely amazing, but everything their is great. Also, don't you dare skip their bulla cakes and hard dough bread!Aside from food, they also sell retro stereo equipment in store, so go check them out!

I came here around lunch time. I was actually walking past and it caught my attention. I was greeted by a nice lady with a very pleasant and wholesome smile. She was very polite and overall just exuberatted good vibes. Now I was in the mood for some oxtail so I decided to get a plate with rice and peas to see if this was a place I could frequent on occasion. The food itself was decent it wasn't bad, it just didn't have that X factor I'm used to having at other places.

I love the Patties and the Bread, the food is also excellent but what tops it all off is the customer service. The Owner is a HumbleHard working man with a great sense of humor. Love this place just wish I could convince him to open just for Sunday morning. Those Pattie’s would be wonderful after church ?
