Don't walk run to this local business. Had a craving for Chinese food. Ordered food really late at night the food was fresh well seasoned and tasty also reasonably priced. The staff was so pleasant and welcoming even though i ordered right before closing. I would totally continue to support this restaurant

We live in oceanside and there are closer restaurant to us, but my husband rather order from New Empire Hunan- the flavor of the food is tasty. Delicious!! And its true.

The food is honestly hit or miss but the woman who took our pick up order on the phone was super nice, accurate, and food was ready on time. I would say if you are able to find a few menu items that you like then you get great value here - large portions and they offer free items when you spend a certain amount. The fried dumplings and steamed dumplings were very good and the beef and broccoli. The chicken dishes were not that great. I appreciate that they try to make the wide wonton fried noodles - not those skinny things a lot of take out places give out. However, they were nothing like the addicting kind served in the sit down Chinese restaurants with the hot mustard and duck sauce to dip. This may be because they actually cooked them here in clean oil but they just lacked flavor. Hot mustard and duck sauce also weren't as good as the sit down restaurants but I guess you just can't compare the two.
