I’m transgender the store was still open kitchen still open all I needed was a soup. Drove all the way there. There own sign said open and the hours listed clearly showed it was still open. There were atkeast 7 employees still there. They lied and said they were closed.

When I eat out or order in I make sure it's a dish I can't make at home. I have a soft spot for fried chicken wings. Classic hole in the wall Chinese take out place restaurant. Skin is so crispy, meat is so juicy. I haven't had good wings in a long time. I mean look at the size of this baby! Recently introduced to this little gem. Will be back for more!

Ordered large chicken with broccoli and wonton soup.Upon opening the container of rice the rice smelled like dirty socks. Chicken and broccoli sauce was very oily. Broccoli turning yellow and wilty so we know it's not fresh. Pieces of chicken are odd slivers. Wonton soup tasted old as well. Total waste of money. Never again.

Just as a heads up the cook is new and he does not make anything in the traditional manner. I ordered something tonight and was utterly baffled as to what they placed in my bag and tried to convince me this is how it is made. When I advised the mouthy young guy behind the counter how it is prepared he replied "Oh you like the traditional Chinese way" UUMMM DUH it is a Chinese restaurant I am ordering from then he tries to explain 3 different ways the same thing is prepared. I had to explain to him I have been ordering this before he was born then he finally says that they do not have the supplies to cook it the proper way as I have always had for many years there. It is certainly time for them to close down based on the other reviews I am seeing about this hole in the wall.

Simply not good. Also overall, the restaurant appeared unclean.

Quality has gone down over the past few years and the cranky guy behind the counter doesn't help. The last order 2 of us had our usual and had issues that night. There are other Chinese kitchens in the area that are much better. Oh yeah, and no fortune cookies. Good bye, good luck.

I am very picky with my Chinese food, because often I am let down. Panda House of Baldwin is not the case. To start off, they have a website with online ordering available. The site is easy to navigate through even on your phone. Which is really helpful if you hate having to talk to someone to place the order. Everything is categorized flawlessly so it's simple to find what you're hungry for, or if you're feeling adventurous and want to try something new. The food is always fresh, delicious, and delivery is super fast so you're not getting cold food. All of the delivery drivers I have had were super nice and respectful of the property. They have lunch specials which give you more than enough food. And their combination plates come filled to the brim. I am a huge fan of their boneless ribs, and their fried wontons. The only complaint I have is that I never have any leftovers because I can't stop eating whatever I get.

Finding good Chinese food is always way-way harder than it should be. This is even true in the city, where I have to resort to Chinatown, and even there, I have a few faves and the rest are tourist traps. It's been nearly impossible to get decent Chinese food during the pandemic, with so many places closed. Good to see many re-open! I did find a place in Oceanside during the height of the pandemic that had amazing food. But as the months clicked by, the quality took a nose dive. We recently started to try Panda and I have to say that for the half dozen times we have tried it, they have been VERY consistent, which is a great thing. Here is what we found: 1. Truly nice staff. Always attentive on the phone. This isn't just more functional, but more pleasant as well. 2. Good/functional English. Makes it much easier to order by phone! This is especially an issue because Seamless and similar platforms have so many added charges it feels like the cost almost doubles. These platforms rip off the customer and the restaurants, so I prefer going direct. 3. Great delivery. Super-fast. Almost always accurate with the orders (and quick to offer correction when there has been a mis-order). And again, very friendly. 4. They have a nice range of extra freebies. Like a bag of yummy dumplings included for free with every order over $30. Cool! As another reviewer said, the food is about average. Sure I'd like a bit better, but I can make due since they really do check all the other boxes so professionally. And finding any other shop with consistently better food, seems to not be happening anyway.

Really good Chinese food, but can get a little busy on the weekend so if they say 10 minutes wait 20.
